I bought four special order (because not in store...whose fault is that) bathroom fans. The installer just came over to look at the vents. He measured and found out that they are too big for the space allotted from the old one. I thought I measured, but I guess not. I called our Menards about returning them, and they said there is a 25% restocking fee. I guess it is my fault for not reading the whole contract. I do not remember a restocking... Read more

We purchased a refrigerator during a rebate week. It was delivered with damage. Menards offered a reduction in price if we would keep the damaged one rather than having it replaced, we accepted. We fully expected that we would also get a rebate based on the lower amount paid. After waiting 8 weeks for the rebate we were told that since we accepted the lower cost we would not receive any rebate. This leaves us with a damaged refrigerator that... Read more

This morning I was at one of the area menards stores buying items on sale for the "crazy day" sale along with other items needed for a upcoming project. As I was browsing though the store with my 8 year old son he says "dad look at the dog going for a walk" I look over and observe a woman dressed very elegantly compared to typical menards customers walking a typical german shepherd dog wearing a very generic red vest with patches saying "ADA... Bought a Dirty Hands Roto-Tiller in April of 2015. Did not go together smoothly at all. Three letters written to the manufacturer. Used it means I put gas in it. That's a no no to Menards. It ran the first time and did three gardens. Garden grew. Went to till up the garden after the growing season in the fall. Would not start. I TOOK IT TO A REPAIR SHOP. Now it works. Three foot by five foot sign in the store states menards will match anybodies price on identical item. Needed 3 refrigerators for my apartments. Lowes only had 1 in stock for $1100 so I bought it. Had to get the other 2 at menards for $280 more. They said "we dont price match if the price is below our cost" ??? Price match policy mentions nothing about their cost. Stay away from burnsville menards. Read more

So the store in Homewood IL wants to expand so they just bought the public street next to them and closed it down. Now thousands of people that use that road to drive back and forth to work have to drive out of their way and funny enough right past the Home Depot. Can you guess where I will be doing all of my shopping? Read more

The store manager at your Fishers, Indiana, store on 96th Street is one of the most sarcastic, prejudice, rude people I have met in a long time. Please inform Chuck that ANYONE can do home improvement projects. In addition, it might be worth mentioning to check and make sure he is not being overheard when making fun of customers. Thank you.
