Regarding the rebate hi there I purchased a lumber to build a deck for $7200 and then I filed a rebate and then I had to change my order The order was not yet deliver soo I had to make some changes to it and something that shouldve been $100 end up costing me $800 And I was told because I file my rebate already I would get the money back but I dont want $1400 in rebates that I have to spend at Menards I am OK with the 700 but Id like to get my other 700 back in a money order or some other Method thank you

Won't cut blinds down

Tell that to the man who used to work at blockbuster, circuit city, sears, k mart, shopko, pier one, toys r us, pay-less shoes, lord & taylor, or any of the other retail stores that are out of business in significant part due to the " " lost my business" No One Cares"attitude of select employees.

The only people cutting blinds work in the flooring department. If you go to another department they aren't going to know how to work the blind cutter.

That is why they told you to go to the correct department. Do you go into a grocery store and expect the person stocking produce to go back to the meat counter and wrap steaks for you?

The stocker won't wrap your meat, but if you tell him the meat counter is unattended he will escort you to someone who will help. At menards the moment you ask for assistance they say "that's not my job" and run off at the speed of light.

Based on what??? I apologize if expecting a salesman to perform very basic customer service is asking too much??

If he doesn't know how to properly assist the customer than he shall escort the customer to someone who can help. Perhaps the bigger issue is the typical millennial employee is too busy sneaking outside for a smoke, or hide in the bathroom playing on their phone for 20 minutes, while the customers who fuel the employee's paycheck are stuck in the middle of the store looking for help?

Excellent customer service

In todays world people are always ready to complain but I would like to recognize an outstanding employee. Being a single woman and having to do stuff by myself Im often lost when I go into hardware stores. However, Ive made several trips to the Chillicothe Ohio store in the last two weeks and each time the associate that helped me was the same and her name is Trisha. I would have not been able to get everything that I needed done if it had not been for her help. Not only did she help me in the department that shes assigned to but she helped me find everything that I needed in other departments. I work in retail so I know how important good customer services. She did an excellent job.

As first time customer bought $300 worth of backsplash. Waited three weeks went to pick up after being told it was ready for pick up,was not there was told itd be several weeks? Long story short I called next morning mgr on duty went out of his way to get it resolved, eventually they found some at another location and actually had it delivered to my home! So what started out not good at all was handled very well by store management and I would appreciate them being recognized. One manager in particular cant recall his name that I called initially was most helpful. Sincerely David Black

When tracking my MenardsRebate on their tracking web-site, I found out the check was mailed January 2, 2021, but I haven't received it. Problem with dryer

Our 4 month old Maytag dryer is not working and could take over a month to get parts for the repair. I want to return this dryer and credit my account and purchase another brand. But Menards will not do this for me. Im stuck with a junk dryer.

Menards did not manufacturer the dryer so therefore accepts no liability for issues. Their sole prerogative is to locate items for the lowest price possible, then resell to the public at a much higher price.

If the item doesn't work tough *** . Please forward any questions you may have to the Chinese company who manufactured the dryer.

They have been taking up to 4 months to get. If you haven't received their rebates before don't throw them away thinking they are junk mail.

They are a tightly folded postcard with advertising on the back. Unless you look closely they easily end up in the recycling bin.

Online purchase of furnace air filters at sale price, 6 were ordered but wrong size was entered, shipment was received, unopened and unused furnace air filters returned to local Menards, customer service indicated that they could not be exchanged for the correct size. The sale price during the sale was for all the high efficiency air filters.
