Menards will not place my online order

I have been trying for weeks to place an order to Canada. I have never experience such poor customer service from any business.

If you look at the shipping information on their web site it says they only ship to U.S. addresses. To the best of my knowledge Canada is not in the U.S.

I've made the purchase online for an in-store pickup and the payment won't process online. No phone support and no one to call.

First assessor claimed that i signed consent form which i did not policy was taken over telphone when i assisted to see my signature i was showen cancel policy taken one year ago and its was bussines policy

They appoint another assessor which she is not updating on her movements since its going to be a month no phone i had to buy my self new device she sad telkom delay document of call data i made sure she get them quicker she find other way to S'ay she need other information playing games delaying claim for being finalize she does not retain calls when you call for update

Water refrigerator at Menards. I ordered the icemaker icemaker kit under dollars to deliver and that they would install the icemaker and change the doors to the office and swing before delivery.

I called the set up delivery and they said that I had to set it up with someone else and pay the hundred dollars. I guess I didnt realize that I hadnt paid it my boss refrigerator.

The guy selling it to me made me thought that I did, but OK they connected me to delivery department They are. They informed me that the delivery would be $200 not $100 I decided to ask my son to help me refrigerator up $200 a lot of money and I was only 1 mile out of their delivery range for $100 kind of made me a little unhappy but OK. I told him I was coming to get it on Saturday I got there and the icemaker wasnt installed , they took two hours to get the icemaker installed and then we loaded in the back of the pick up carried in the house carry the old fridge raider out and my wife said the doors brown backwards, I called the store and they said if I wanted the doors changed around I had to bring refrigerator back and if I wanted them to pick it up they charge me $200 to come get it change the doors around for free and $200 to deliver it back , so I proceeded to try to change the doors around myself. The refrigerator doesnt sit in the back wheels need to come up but theres no adjustment and the front wheels are all the way down the floor.

The doors are not on straight. I put everything in the holes that were there, but theyre not lining up good the seal on the bottom refrigerator. Its not ceiling halfway down its like its collapsed. Not sure what to do about that.

I called the manager at the store. He said he cant help me and didnt offer any solutions and then he hung up on me. Its the store in South West Grand Rapids. The address starts with 5555.

I forget the name of the town maybe Wyoming. How can you help me?

Refund / store credit

On 10/30/23 my wife and I purchased $272.48 worth of product using $47.65 in 11% rebates. I had to return an item that was $75.64 with tax.

I was asked if I wanted the money back on my bank card or a store credit which is what I did and I spent it on different wood spending $78.42 using the store credit and paying with my bank card for the balance of $12.81. Then we had to return that wood and go a differently route entirely.

When doing this I was forced to take a store credit of $70.98 with only $12.81 being put on my bank card.

I am trying to figure out how I spend over $270.00 cash using $47.65 in rebates only entitles me to a $12.00 cash refund while being forced to take a $70 store credit.

Please contact me in response or if you need better understanding of this situation.

User's recommendation: I have not really had issues till this. Outcome will determine the rating and they should keep in mind Lowes is right across the street from them and we are not a bit happy with this.

Why are you claiming a $71 loss? You had a receipt for the wood paid for by a store credit and $12 on a card. You returned the wood so you get the store credit back plus your $12.

It was because you used a store credit to purchase the wood. When you used that receipt the refund would go to store credit first, just like their return policy says it will.

In other words all returns policies are in favor of the house…….. it ensures John menards retains his billions of dollars.

Much like hot menards is running a toy for kids drive……, guess what menards corporate is paying absolutely zero out of pocket, getting free advertising on local news shows and the public purchases the merchandise at menards which again John menards takes bragging rights to. It’s literally a win win win situation for menards.

11% are for store credit, only. No receipt returns are for store credit only.

So yes all store purchases will be refunded as store credits, up until the amount exceeds the store credit. After that it will be returned the same way you purchased it, or as a store credit if you choose. Seems pretty simple. Also, of course the policies favor the business, if not thieves and scammers would abuse a companies policies until they are no longer in business.

Finally, why are you mad Menards or any other business takes donations and help out less fortunate ppl? The store I work out gets donations for Toys of Tots. Which is a Marine Corps toy drive to help kids have Christmas presents, and as a former Marine that got to give t Kids some of the presents and see the joy it brought their families. You're right Menards, must be awful fot helping bring awareness and providing a collection point.

I would love to hear you help with donations and how Menards could be more like you. You seem to have a lot of great ideas.

Again what is John menard, corporate office, or store management donating out of their pocket for this fundraiser???? The only cost is having an employee wrap a employee stove box in wrapping paper.

They profit by having the public purchase merchandise from the store then the store takes the credit for donations by bragging to local news shows. I guess this is what you expect from a company that runs a “11% off sale “ continuously from beginning of January until thanksgiving.

P.s. no discount for veterans like you mr former marine!!!!!

Was the order placed on-line or at a store? What was the shipping address on the order, your home or the store? You shouldn't have placed the order if it didn't have the shipping address you wanted on the order.

There is no one to call. If you have waited over the 8 weeks specified on the rebate form, go to their web site and track your rebate.

If it had been mailed over a week ago it either got stolen in the mail or you threw it away thinking the post card it came in was junk mail.

If it hasn't been redeemed you can use the form on their website to contact them. You can request that they re-send it, just be aware that there will likely be a charge to have this done.

you cancelled a $1029.71 credit check of mine that I just tried to use.I HAVE HAD POSSETION OF THEIS CREDIT CHECK SINCE 10/.8/2020. mENARDS TOLD ME THAT IT WAS REPORTED STOLEN WHEN i NEVER REPORTED ANYTHING CONCERNING THIS CREDIT..This check has never left my dest until yesterday so I dont know how or who reorted it stolen.

I placed an order for siding on august 22, it is now September 26 still no siding. Yesterday September 25 i spoke with a mill work manager and they could not tell me where my order was even though it had said 4 different estimated ship dates and the vendor told me directly it would be there on the last date listed, September 25.

I told them to cancel my order and i want a refund since they couldn't help me. I started the return and even took the materials back to where they asked. At this point the generals manager got involved like there was no issues, after getting everything in line he decided to tell me that the we will be charging you a 25% restock fee. I explained to him if you have no product in stock how can you charge me a restock fee???

He arrogantly circled 2 spots on the form where it is marked. I understand it is on the paperwork, but it was not there and at that point it was never told to me where the product was. Her proceeded to give me a number to an automated phone line that you cant talk to a human.

The general manager at the Sandusky Ohio location need to get some serious training unless Menards would like to lose many more customers. I will never shop with this company again.

Wow. How can they charge a “restocking” fee when it isn’t even in stock to be restocked?

Having worked in retail for decades I know there are policies for a reason but they are never set in stone, this could have and should have easily been taken care of by the GM. These companies have gotten ridiculous.

Menards manager told me the siding would be in, so that’s why they have to charge restock. Last statement he made when i walked out was it would be in holiday city today and he would have it sped up to be to Sandusky tomorrow. If not here tomorrow then corporate needs to take care of this issue and his inability to resolve an issue caused by their vendor and his staffs inability to follow up with costumers when asked about products.

Menards is getting crazy with their restock fee. If they can't get the product to you there is no reason they should charge a restock fee.

If you didn't make the mistake of using their "BIG" car, contact your credit card company and dispute the charges. If that doesn't work take them to small claims court.

You leave out a lot of information. Do you have your receipt to prove how old the water heater is?

Have you followed the instructions on your warranty for filing a claim? If you look at your warranty it isn't Menards that backs the warranty so why do you expect their employees to be able to do anything for you?

Bought several pre fab fence panels . When I got them home discovered most pickets were nailed with 1 nail. Spacing was off on most of them. Very very poor quality for being US made!!! I don't recommend buying these.

2 week s later and they decide to reissue a check. Which prior new address update in profile. Emailed hr and I know gms see the email. Told them to mail check on payroll week.

A week after supposed to be paid. Nothing.

Im looking for answers. Im a past employee.

I go in today to be informed that dealine was yesterday. Was never told this. Now my paycheck last week that i was supposed to receive is not being mailed until this friday. What is going on at the maplewood location.

I was accused of being racist. Investigation still open as farcas im aware. Then called a liar 2 weeks later. Lose job.

Now cant get paid. When do i expect the check in the amount roughly $396. Maplewood location has put in hardship.

Lost my rebate cards checks # 7562 totaling 144.01

I talked with someone at the customer service desk and they gave me a printoutu of the 3 checks totaling 144,01. I did not see them.

There is a good chance you threw them away when you received them as the postcards they come in look like junk mail advertising. Track them on their website where you will also find a contact link for rebates.

Try requesting that they re-issue them, just expect them to charge for that service. If you get them re-issued be sure to look at your mail closely before you toss it out.

A company that runs an " 11 in store credit rebate " continuously for 11 months of the years has the same ethics as a furniture store that runs a 3 weeks july 4th sale which is immediately followed by a 5 week memorial day sale..................... These retailers just inflate the price above retail to compensate for their " sale price ".

It was one thing when menards had the " sale " every 5 weeks then run for a week but for the past year years then then running the " sale " continuously from beginning of January all the way though the day before thanksgiving........ my crystal ball predicted the same for 2024.

Was the countertop you received a different dimension than you ordered or do you need a different size than you ordered? If it came different than ordered they should re-order at no additional charge.

If you need a different size than you ordered a restocking charge is appropriate. The restock charge would partially make up for the reduction in price they get when they sell it in their bargain area.

Thank you captain obvious for your “ professional opinion “. There was a significant difference between what was on my measurement drawings and what the store employee entered into the computer.

Apparently it’s unreasonable to expect a department manager of a home improvement store to know basic math and measurements???? They might as well hire a blind person to mix paint and have a frail elderly employee restack pallets of 80 pound concrete bags after pulling out the 2 leaking ones.

Purchase a template????? With the amount of money menards charges for a “ do it yourself “ countertop one would think the price a paper template would be built into the overall cost, if not on the house.

Expecting a customer to purchase a flimsy template when investing many thousands of dollars is extremely inconsiderate.

Best solution is work with a independent cabinet store or even Home Depot who works directly with contractors who come out to your house to verify measurements prior to ordering then install the merchandise for you. It’s not worth saving “11% in store credit “ to work with a company that literally turns their back on a flustered and disappointed customer due to the incompetence of their staffing.

What the employee entered into their computer was printed out on the order form and a drawing of the countertop that included the measurements. Didn't you look at it to confirm they were correct?

When you got to the register you were asked to electronically sing the special order contract agreeing that the information on the order was correct.

You shouldn't be custom ordering materials if you aren't willing to review the orders to be sure they are actually what you want. This is true at any store you are shopping at.
