It would be interesting to know how your end of the conversation went. My guess is that you wanted them to bring out a new door or replacement parts right away as your installers were at your home.

Unfortunately Menards doesn't have delivery trucks. They hire independent truckers to make their deliveries. They will load a number of deliveries on a truck at a time which may keep the truck on the road for a number of hours. After they have loaded the last load the drivers are gone until the next day.

So the idea of a quick replacement just doesn't work at Menards. If the door was special ordered you would have to wait weeks for a new door to come in.

You are better off dealing with a local garage door shop that stocks the doors and has their installers bring the door with them. In many cases you will end up paying less going to an installing dealer than buying a door at Menards and paying someone to install it.

Your are shopping at a big box discount store, what do you expect? With the thousands of items they sell there is no way they are trained to know about everything.

If you want to learn about the mower you are purchasing, go to a small engine shop. With a more limited product offering the employees will know more about the products they are selling. They will also offer service if needed down the road, something you aren't going to find at a big box store.

Yes, you will pay a little more but you will get there service you are looking for. As far as the tax goes, most stores don't include tax in the price of an item.

Keep in mind that the warranty is provided by the manufacturer, not the retail store. You will more than likely find that it is quicker to deal directly with the manufacturer that getting the store in the middle.

They will often have a number of questions for you. Rather than having them providing the questions to the store who would then have to contact you for a response and then forward the answers back with possible follow ups it would be much more efficient for you to have direct contact with the manufacturer who is ultimately responsible for your warranty.

Hate to tell you this but this isn't the place to request a refund. Did you purchase this from the Hutchinson store or on-line. If you purchased it from the store, call the store and see what the status of your order is, otherwise you will have to continue communicating via e-mail if you ordered on-line.

Menards - Processing Fee

I think it's ridiculous that Menards charges a processing fee to order online. I ordered for my company but I'll never order from here for myself. I'm not paying you to take my money! I already pay for shipping and taxes. And your rebates are a joke too! Here's a rebate but you can only spend the money here. That's called a discount. A true rebate gives you money to spend as you like. Plus you have to find the rebate form in a sea of rebate forms or go online print it, cut it, fold it, then mail it. Way to much work for $2.11. Enough Menards!! I'm sticking with Home Depot where at least they are honest people to do business with and you know what you're paying for upfront.

Just another way to take a dollar out of your pocket. If you have watched their prices continually move upward over the past few years it's easy to see how they have covered the "rebate".

Keep in mind you are not getting cash back but heavily marked up merchandise. Getting to be as bad as Kohls with their Kohls cash.

Sent a rebate about 45 days ago, still have not seen anything from them and there is nothing when I look at the rebate tracker online. Not the first time menards rebates have been next to impossible to actually get!

Menards - Didn't send all my order

Good morning. I ordered 6 j bolts from Maynard's a few weeks ago. 10 days ago I received the order that was missing some of the j bolts I paid for. I have been exchanging emails with your customer service that hasn't been productive. I have sent pictures of the order, request for the rest of the order, and I'm still in limbo. I think 10 days of emails is too long to send me $5 worth of j bolts. Our construction is halted because of need for these j bolts. They have given me no kind of answer for how long this will take to send me these bolts that are specialized and hard to find. Help.
