Do you really expect retail stores to stock replacement parts for everything they sell? They just don't have room for them.

It's a good idea to see exactly what a warranty covers before you purchase a product. In your case a service plan with a local utility that covers the furnace, water heater, air conditioner and appliances might be a good investment.

Damaged item

I ordered the MD sport Bean bag toss for a Christmas gift. the workers put the shipping label over the damaged area of the box, so you had no clue anything was wrong. When the individual opened the gift the playing board has big gouges in it. the shipping label isn't torn so they knew what they were hiding and I was so appalled and embarrassed to give a damaged gift. you need to make this right. I have pictures if you email me I will send them.

Try contacting Menards for a solution. Knowing Menards they will want you to return the product at your expense before they will ship a new one.

They already came up with a solution, no one in the store was willing to purchase a damaged product so why not throw a shipping label on it and ship cross country.

Need help with receipt

I had really but experienced with Garden City Menards store, I ordered a bar counter top & the first time they didn't ordered right, so I went back to returned it & they said that they will replace it for a new one, but I had to wait 2 more weeks so right there are 4 weeks already and I said ok I can wait & now that has been 2 weeks I called them to make sure is there & they say there is not an existing order for the item that they don't have it, I had to talk with 4 different people because nobody knew what to do, I got really upset at this point that I just wanted my $$ back ,I can believe how long it takes for such a small thing to get it right.

User's recommendation: To make sure to do special orders right & just do one thing out of the time,because they don't concentrate on what they are doing & that's why you get things wrong.

Very disappointed

No way to communicate with customer service. I have tried through many emails to cancel an order placed on 12/04/2021 and cannot get this issue resolved

Horrible customers service

I baught a vacuum with 7 yeara wArrenty The vacuum malfunctioned I called the menards were I purchased it they told me to bring it in for exchange and when they realized they stopped carrying the model shark they told me they cant do nothing

Grab your warranty. Does it say to return it to the store or does it give you information on how to obtain service. Keep in mind that it is the manufacturers warranty, not the stores warranty.

You are leaving out an important detail. Did you have your receipt?

The receipt would show how old it is, prove that you bought it there and how much you paid for it.

If they no longer stock the model you have all they could do is give you credit towards a new one if it was in warranty and to do that they would need your receipt to know how much you paid for it. As the manufacturer is actually responsible for the warranty you might want to contact them if you had filled out your registration when you bought the machine and see if they can help you.

Yes, there may be 3 in other stores but they would be displays in who knows what condition. By the time it got shipped through their warehouses and to your store the chances of being in a condition you would want are slim.

You are better off taking the refund and purchasing the couch at a furniture store rather that buy from a store that carries furniture as a fill in for a few months a year. If you take a good look at the invoice you paid for the couch on you will see that it says to take your purchase with you and it may not be there if you pick it up later, and they mean that.

Non functioning whirlpool product

Purchased a brand new whirlpool stove and oven does not work. I have had to make 3 calls to whirlpool and still no results. Keep getting g told "we're sorry" we appologize. Well that doesn't get my oven fixed.

You fail to say if the oven didn't work from day one or if it stopped working. If it didn't work from day one you should have returned it immediately as a product with initial failure.

If it hasn't worked from day one, confirm that the power cord was installed properly. Otherwise you are at the mercy of the pandemic and the labor and parts shortages are everywhere.
