I was charged a $1.40 processing fee that when I returned the item I did not get that fee back. Its bad enough that a fee was charged but if you return the item the fee should be returned as well

User's recommendation: dont order online to pick up in store.

The fee is to have someone do your shopping for you. They had performed the service before you picked the item up.

Returning the item doesn't negate the fact that someone did your shopping for you. You are lucky they don't charge you to put the item back in stock.


Why should a customer pay a surcharge for an employee on company time to preform the job they were hired to do?????? That's like a restaurant charging a transportation surcharge for the waitress to carry the food from the kitchen to your table!

No other box box nor independent store charges a "processing fee ".

Yes some businesses charge "covid 19 " surcharge or credit card surcharge however I specifically avoid those businesses. Vote with your wallet and support businesses who appreciate the customer who provides them with a job and paycheck.


Brick and m mortar stores employ people to stock the shelves and sell items to customers coming in the store to shop. If you want someone to do your shopping for you it is only right to pay for that service.

Using your way of thinking they shouldn't charge you for delivering items to your home either. If you don't want to pay the charge simply go into the store, do your own shopping, pay at the registers and take your products with you.
