Work 2 weeks at a job part time then quit.......... Typical millennial.
It must have been torture to be told you must be there by 9 am and work 6 hour days. Hopefully your mommy's purse has enough money to hold you over until you find a new job for 2 weeks.
They aren't saying they only worked 2 weeks. Menards doesn't pay you first check for 2 weeks and then when you quit you get checks 2 weeks after you quit. They are waiting for that last check.
" i was supposed to recieve my last pay today after i quit (for the 2 weeks when i started) " Their first check, their last check, their only check, it's all the same whatever you want to call it. When a business hires someone they have expenses such as labor for the HR department to interview you, background check, call your references, train you, as well as paying for the urine test.
Then department staff needs to show you around the store and teach you procedures. Its not fair for people to play game of hire me, teach me, let me work for 2 weeks then when my $1400 stimulus check or the inflated unemployment check comes around I abandon the job with zero notification. The employer should have the right to withhold the expenses their out with you f@***g around wasting their time saying you need employment then disappear into thin air on the 4th day.
With the lack of motivation associated with someone who quits a job within 2 weeks has, menards should withhold your whole paycheck to cover the expenses they are out from you wasting their employee labor. Just go back to your parents basement and post on facebook how awful it is that a job actually expected you to be motivated and dependable.
Careful what you say or your going to make the snowflake cry. People like that can't handle the truth
This is Thursday. Paydays are Friday at Menards.
Go to the store and ask hr staffing or store management, duh!! Unless you were cought stealing and no longer allowed at the store.
The 1st check takes 2 weeks, plus a day to pay out. So
