We purchased a refrigerator during a rebate week. It was delivered with damage.
Menards offered a reduction in price if we would keep the damaged one rather than having it replaced, we accepted. We fully expected that we would also get a rebate based on the lower amount paid.
After waiting 8 weeks for the rebate we were told that since we accepted the lower cost we would not receive any rebate.
This leaves us with a damaged refrigerator that cost us more than if we had sent back the damaged one for a good one.
