I feel you are very unfair to people that use food stamps, you sell food inyour stores but wont let anyone to use a food stamp card for your food produces they come in to get other things and then want to pick up food there and they can't because you don't let then use the food stamp card since they don't have the cash for what they need. So why sell food if not everyone can get it this is showing me is that you are not caring about every one who shop inyour;stores. thankyou for listening to me Diane Howell

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Menards Pros: Generally favorable shopping.

Next time you decide to run your mouth, learn how to spell and form complete sentences. If you want a clue on how the world works, some people are disabled and rely on food stamps for their families to eat you moron

It would also be nice to be able to buy seeds and starter plants with link there as opposed to the very limited selection at grocery stores.

I'm just another person that would like to use my EBT in this case I would like to share with others and buy a big beautiful bag of Halloween candy but nope you don't take the card it would be a good idea if you did I'm sure the government will make do on their promise LOL it seems like guaranteed money to me why wouldn't you take it?

@Xco

Menards does not believe in any kind of government assistance. They feel you should work for your money. They are not going to spend any money investing in setting up a system to accept EBT or spend time on the paperwork it would require.

@fuckyoupayme

The government may not charge for the account but the stores have to pay someone to go through the paperwork and integration of the system in their registers.

You my friend are stupid. Make $60,000 a year and then get injured and loose everything. You have no idea how ignorant the comment you made is.

@Alex

You should of have been more responsible with how you were spending every penny of your 60 K a year. If you saved money instead of new 40k car every 2 years, expensive restaurants 5 nights a week and go to casino weekly, and vacations galore perhaps your savings accounts wouldn't be absolute zero when you got "injured" on the job.

Alex did not say that he spends $40K every 2 years on a new car and eat at expensive restaurants 5 nights a week. You made that up out of the clear blue sky!

You said this not knowing if it was true.

This is slander and lying. Stop being a cold-hearted brutal liar!

Okay but what about those of us who are disabled and unable to work?

Most people who use EBT do work, and sometimes work more than the average person, but they just don't make enough even though they work. They still need the help.

The truth is you just don't care if people starve. Many people on food stamps work harder than you do.

They don't meet the criteria to expect bet. https://www.fns.usda.gov/snap/my-store-eligible

I don't understand what all the complaining is about. I guarantee you within a mile or two of that Menards store there is a grocery store.

Certainly the person can go down there and buy the food items that they need. Menards have so many good sales and specials, that that person with food stamps is saving money on other items they buy, so why complain that they have to go somewhere else to get food

@Sandy

Obviously you don't know how hard it is to stretch EBT benefits to feed your family. Only the entitled have this attitude.

I agree Tim, I’ve been on both sides... people who have not HAD to use the “ebt” benefit WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND!!!
