It says nothing on the receipt about not refunding or exchanging once you leave the store.

Manager Bryan Araque is rude as *** Not allowing me a refund or exchange the item for another after it fell off the bottom of my cart in the parking lot. The item was stolen and packaging run over.

I was told once I'm in the parking lot it is no longer Menard's problem.DO

Additionally, the item was put on top of a bag of potting soil by YOUR CASHIERS.

Well done, Menards Clybourn. I will never shop there again and I'm putting this all over the internet, specifically calling out Bryan Araque.

User's recommendation: DO NOT SHOP AT MENARDS.

Monetary Loss: $8.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

Menards Cons: Lack of caring on part of personnel, Problem not taken care of.

It looks like you are trying to return an empty box. I expect that if it had fallen off the cart and got damaged they would exchange it if you actually brought the item into the store.

The item was fastened to the box. See the outline of a dragonfly.

But every one they had in stock was not fastened to the box. And this was less than 10 minutes after I bought it. The cashier remembered me and was talking to me when rude manager came up. I just wanted another one, not a refund.

The item was stolen. The packaging it was in fell off the cart and it took about 3 minutes before I went looking for it.

That's when I found the empty box with the tire track and no dragonfly. I looked all over the lot. The box had no plastic over the item. The dragonfly was secured in the box by twist ties, which you can see.

Unfortunately, they were broken. All of the dragonfly boxes were like that.

Soo what exactly are you saying happened that you expect a retail establishment to cover?? Insurance...?

Cuz apparently you dropped it without noticing then someone apparently drove by saw it laying on the ground, broke the ties holding it to the packaging and stole it then left the package in the same spot you dropped it....??

All in under 3 mins... sounds like a professional ring too me...maybe you should get the FBI involved....lmfao
