i was told i would not pay interest until my 700 in materials was paid in full, well im down to 258 and with vika score of 807 they charged me $58.07 , , this year and last year i spent over 25,000.00 dolllars at meards, so i called and told the girl i was just charged 58 bucks , she started rattling on that this interest goes back to the 700 dollars, i said no, its 26% on my balance of 258. most accounts you cant close until balance is paid in full, but i said i mite as well close this account if your not going to honor what i thought was until paid in full, So she say's i closed your account, and she's gets snotty , and says i would of wavied those charges and you can never reopen this account, Nice after 30years of shopping menards, then she wont take a charge card payment for balance payment, im totally done with menards, my contractors havent been happy with people at building supply counter in some time, its only 58 bucks and .07 cents, but its the service, most of all its the snotty service, or the no service at the building supply counter, im going to send out a check today for the remaining balance and shop elsewhere, im done, i hav a vika score over 800 and all my interest rates are at 7.99 i dont need this 26% card, its an inslut to began with.

You seem a little arrogant. I'm sure the customer service was horrible but you probably came off as a ***.

Sounds like a credit card company problem, not Menards.

You obviously don't understand credit promotions. You have a certain amount of months to pay your total without interest.

If you do not pay the total amount charged by the end of the period you are charged interest for the entire balance over the entire period.

It is your responsibility to read the terms of your credit agreement. You won't find any store that offers no interest on your purchases without a time limit.
