DO NOT ORDER FROM MENARDS ONLINE

The slow customer service seems to be intentional. Before the email customer service can respond or get processed your online order is already shipped and unable to be altered.

The shipping was confirmed before any charge could appear on our credit card statement and we were still told nothing could be done.

From the time the order was made until an email message to customer service could be sent was 14 minutes. By the time we were told nothing could be done, 3 hours later, nothing could be done to cancel the order.

most places that you order online can't change/cancel/alter, etc because they're not set up to do that...they're set up for you to buy stuff at best

There is a simple solution here....before you order from anyone take time and make sure you actually want what you are ordering. At Menards there are even items you can special order in the store and if you change your mind walking to your car it can be too late to cancel by the time you get back into the store and request a cancellation. If you are not 100% sure you want an item DON'T PLACE THE ORDER.
