Shipment ETA

There customer service is horrible. You can not get a hold of anyone to find out simple information. I have contractors waiting on a sink I have purchased online and paid for delivery.

Asking about an order

This is not a complaint at all. I'm just simply trying to ask a question and I see there's no number to call. I would like to know if I can make an online order using a rebate?

The only numbers to call are their stores. The rebates can only be used in their stores. They are not accepted for on-line orders.

Order

There is no way to contact anyone about an online order. When you call the customer service number it hangs up on you. If you try to use the chat service they charge you. This whole process is ridiculous. All I wanted to know was why when I tried to make an order online, I was being charged a delivery fee for each individual item. Several of the charges were more than the cost of the items

The items may be shipping directly from different vendors or stores, each insuring a shipping charge. Menards is a brick and mortar company with on-line ordering as a secondary part of their business. In many cases you will find total lower priced options for placing on line orders and more often than not better customer service options as well.

The manufacturers set a schedule of discounts based on size of dent and location. If the dent is on a side that isn't seen the discount is quite small compared to a dent in a location that will be visible once installed. Their delivery drivers aren't plumbers so you wouldn't want them messing around with your gas lines.

When I call this number it is for card holders. I want actual corporate!!!! I am being wrongly followed in the Greenwood store and it upsets me! don't shop there!! User's recommendation: DON'T SHOP THERE!!!!

If you have a complaint for corporate, put it in writing. They don't have phone lines for customers to contact the corporate office. There is something you are doing in the store that is drawing their attention to you if in fact you are being followed.

Damaged item

I ordered the MD sport Bean bag toss for a Christmas gift. the workers put the shipping label over the damaged area of the box, so you had no clue anything was wrong. When the individual opened the gift the playing board has big gouges in it. the shipping label isn't torn so they knew what they were hiding and I was so appalled and embarrassed to give a damaged gift. you need to make this right. I have pictures if you email me I will send them.

Try contacting Menards for a solution. Knowing Menards they will want you to return the product at your expense before they will ship a new one.

They already came up with a solution, no one in the store was willing to purchase a damaged product so why not throw a shipping label on it and ship cross country.

Online pick up

I would not recommend ordering online. You still have to go through the store to find pick up your item. They don't do it for you. So ordering online is absolutely pointless waste of time & no where is this stated while ordering

But you do have the luxury of paying a “processing fee” per item for an employee on company time to preform the job they were hired to do.

The employees in a brick and mortar store should be there to assist customers shopping in the store. Nothing wrong with paying to have multiple people getting involved with pulling an order and putting it aside.

If you look at Menards history they started in the Midwest and are slowly expanding from there. It will be a while before they get there.

Menards is different than Lowes and Home Depot in that the company is privately owned. They use profits from the stores they have for expansion rather than selling stock or taking on debt.

Keep in mind there is more than just building new stores involved. New distribution centers and manufacturing plants are also required as the company expands into new areas, it all takes time.

Where can you rent a vehicle that they aren't going to charge you for the full time you have it? Do you think you can go to u-haul to rent a truck and ask them not to charge for time or milage until you call them and let them know the materials you are hauling are loaded? Bet you won't find a lower rental rate for hauling a quick load either.

Have you tried tracking it? With their long running 11% rebate I've had them take 3-4 months to arrive.

Did you track your rebate on their web site to see if it had been processed? If this is your first rebate from them there is a good chance you received it and tossed it in the trash.

Their credit checks come as a tightly folded post card with advertising for one of their products on the back.

Unless you look closely you may not notice that it is a folded card and quickly toss is out thinking it is a junk mail advertisement. When you track it, if you see that it was mailed and hasn't been cashed you should request that they re-issue the rebate.

i PURCHASED ROOFING MATERIAL FROM MENARDS AND PAID IN FULL $3215.93 DUE TO THE ROOFER GETTING INJURED THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO WORK ON MY ROOF FOR OVER TWO YEARS HE IS AN EXCELLENT ROOFER THAT INSTALLED 6 ROOFS FOR ME (MATERIAL ALL CAME FROM MENARDS). I WENT TO MENARDS THREE TIMES TO PICK UP SHINGLES. THEY WERE OUT OF STOCK. NO PROBLEM I COULD WAIT. I WAS TOLD THAT SHINGLES WOULD BE IN THE NEXT WEEK. I WENT BACK TO MENARDS. THEY NOW WANT TO CANCEL THE ORDER I PAID FOR AND BILL ME THE NEW PRICE. YES ONE MANAGER SAID THEY WOULD MAKE THE ORDER GOOD. I TOLD THEM THEY HAD MY MONEY WHEN I PURCHASED THE SHINGLES. THEY SHOULD MADE THE ORDER GOOD

Your order also says to take you order with you. They aren't a warehouse to let your products sit at until you are ready for them.

The cost of materials has gone up considerably in the past 2 years. You should expect to pay either the current price or an equivalent or what renting a storage spot for 2 years would have been.
