Menards has decided to their rebate form twice as big and "do not fold..... Failure to follow these guidelines could result in lost, misdirected or delayed mail" So they want you to send in the rebate in a full sized #10 envelope.

I asked a manager why they did this and he said the post office lost rebates sent in the smaller envelopes.

What a croke... My guess is the rebate center lost the envelopes.

User's recommendation: complain about the rebate forms.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

You wrote a bad review because they increased the size of a rebate form? Really please tell me how it's bad that they made it easier to read and to write inside the boxes.

The horror, how dare they assume someone, such as elderly ppl would have a hard time seeing the small print. Obviously in the future, Menards should only check with you, to make sure it doesn't upset you.

If menards did change from el cheapo postcard rebate to gift card and in sealed envelope like home depot does, it's only a kneejerk reaction to many complaints on here, to store staffing, store Facebook, and many lawsuits for fraud.

" home depot does" If you want something done like HD does it, shop at HD...Problem solved.... You're welcome...

Mission accomplished, I as a 52 year old male was a menards customer for literally decades. since helping grandfather with projects dating back to 1984.

Many of the staffing at the 3 local menards stores knew me on first name basis as a regular customer. However for the past year and half menards has run an 11% off Marathon. Between decreasing motivation of store staffing, increasing pricing, absolutely no genuine sale prices, "rebates that move the speed of Chicago rush hour traffic during a snowstorm, and too many low quality generic products I have now taken 100% of my business to home depot.

They have name brand products, better return policy, better delivery, better staffing, and match the 11% rebate, but deliver much faster. After being a dedicated customer of menards from 1984 to March of 2020, my wallet has officially left the building.

You are 100% correct. Menards at one time had the best prices and service. That seems to be a thing of the past.
