Online order

I called in to customer service because no one in the store could locate my online order hours after placing it. Well when I call the person who answered the phone was coughing over and over so loud. After she finally got it together, you could just hear how messed up she was. It was very clear she was on some sort of drug. She didnt help me at all. As a business owner, I would want to know if someone is representing my company like so. I recommend letting her go immediately, go back and listen to my call.

Just take a look at the signs in the area where they sell gas powered equipment. They clearly state that they will not take these items back and that they would have to go to a service center.

The manufacturers require this due to the inability of all too many people not following instructions. Many problems are caused by using stale fuel, not using oil or the proper oil. If there is a defect in the product it will be repaired under warranty.

If it is a problem caused by the user you will be expected to pay the repair bill. Manufacturers and retailers can't be expected to eat the cost of problems caused by consumers that don't read the instructions.

Complaint

Went in to buy some stuff and the cashier asked husband to step away even though he had mask on just not completely over nose then she refused to wait on me as mine was not completely over nose. It is not a law to wear one and you can not force someone to wear one . I do not like being treated like a criminal over a mask and being refused to be waited on. I spend a lot of money there but it is getting to the point I am going to stop shopping there. Other places like Lowes likes money being spent with or without a mask. I did however purchase my stuff at Lowes. Maybe the mask being wore by employees shouldn't be offensive

If you want to shop on private property such as a Menards stores you need to follow their policies. If you can't handle something as simple as properly wearing a mask to protect their employees and other shoppers they have every right to refuse service. Have you ever complained about restaurants that require shoes and shirts?

Fraudulent charges

Menards - Fraudulent charges
I did not make these 2 charges on my acct for 1/6/21. It states philadelphia, pa and im in markham,il ive neva been to philadelphia.

Normally you would have a good chance of getting the credit card company dropping "fraudulent" charges to your account but that may be difficult as you have just posted your account number on the internet. If I were you I would call and close this account today to avoid many more charges being posted to your account.

I was returning 2 bits of my dads , he sent one of his crew in and got the wrong ones ! He paid cash on that day. So needless to say I came in to either exchange them or get the ones he needed or whatever was easiest without a receipt I gave the gentleman my drivers...

If they were paid for there should be a receipt. All you need to do is take it in and you will get your refund.

You won't see your rebate added to their tracking until they open your envelope. I'd love to be able to see the warehouse full of mail waiting to be opened.

I did not receive my rebate

We purchased a Christmas tree with $22 rebate. We sent rebate in Dec. We have copies. We haven't received the rebate as if today.

User's recommendation: Do not buy trees with rebates. No response, no money.

You have left out a lot of detail. What did you pay for, was it in stock or was it something they had to order from the manufacturer?

If it is something they had to order, have you considered that the problem is with the manufacturer?

If they are having problems getting the product you ordered consider going with a stock item or ordering something from another manufacturer. Unfortunately covid is still affecting supplies of products, appliances are a good example.

No rebate received

In the summer of 2020 my husband spent a lot of money at Menards for our new bathroom renovation. We sent off paperwork for a $94.00 rebate as well as a $60.00 rebate. Its February of 2021 now. No rebates.

User's recommendation: Don’t depend on the rebate scam.

Did you get them and throw them away? They come in a tightly folded post card with advertising on the back. If you didn't look at it closely you may have tossed them out thinking they were junk mail.

Same Day Delivery

I live 3 miles from Hodgkin's store. Roads are clear. Delivery service received goods before 12 noon. Your advertised same day delivery service had 10 hours to deliver. Never again. $30 for naught. Wanted items same day. YOUR SERVICE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Employees not wearing mask

Cashier asked me to pull my mask up to check me out. I asked him to wear his properly. He refused so did I. Manager came and told me I had to pull mine up. I said why do I have to wear mine properly when your Cashier isn't. She said she would speak with him later. I then observed 2 other cashiers not wearing theirs properly. I again told her do not try to enforce a rule on customers that she was not enforcing on employees herself.

Return issue not resolved

We want to return an item with the receipt from a previous day purchase and the store refused to credit my debit card back.

Processing Fee

Tried to spend $115.00 on bird feeding supplies via curbside pickup. Is this the only retail store charging a fee to do this? Ridiculous! Almost $12.00 to pull 4 items from the same isle?

If you don't want to pay someone to do your shopping for you, you are free to go into the store and pick the 4 items out of the same aisle and put them in a cart yourself.

Or just take your business to a store that doesn't charge a surcharge for an employee on company time to preform the job they were hired to do.
