Lack of response

After contacting Menards about getting the floor model upright freezer and not being happy about it and wanting a discount, the only thing I got in answer was 'what does floor model mean?' Anyone who's worked in retail knows what that means, but I answered anyway and have heard nothing else from them.

User's recommendation: Don't rent their truck to get your purchase home before double checking they sold you what you wanted.

When given an open box it's a good idea to inspect the contents or request a sealed box. Saves a trip back to the store.

Missing rebate check

When tracking my MenardsRebate on their tracking web-site, I found out the check was mailed January 2, 2021, but I haven't received it. Immediately I emailed Menards Rebate Center to get help, yet I have not heard from them. The check amount was considerable can you give me advice on how to pursue this matter? Rebate check not received

I know my check was issued on 2/8 and 2/25 but have not received them. Emailed company and they have not email me back.

If you haven't received their rebates before, they come as a tightly folded postcard with advertising on the back. Easy to mistake them for junk mail and throw them away. The are redeemable only for in store purchases and can not be used on-line.

Chest freezer doesn't freeze

We bought a small 3ft long chest freezer to put in the kitchen,it sucks.The only food that freezes is what's on the very bottom.Our freezer isn't even half way full and nothing from the middle up freezes.Its going in the scrap pile when we get a good one.And it won't be from Menards.

How long have you had it? If it's new there should be a warranty you can use rather than tossing it out.

Problem with dryer

Our 4 month old Maytag dryer is not working and could take over a month to get parts for the repair. I want to return this dryer and credit my account and purchase another brand. But Menards will not do this for me. Im stuck with a junk dryer.

Menards did not manufacturer the dryer so therefore accepts no liability for issues. Their sole prerogative is to locate items for the lowest price possible, then resell to the public at a much higher price.

If the item doesn't work tough *** . Please forward any questions you may have to the Chinese company who manufactured the dryer.

Return Fee Charged for Online Order

I was ordering some Fire pit stones through your website this afternoon and it said the 1st time I submitted it that it didn't go through so I resubmitted the order. Well I get 2 order confirmations for both orders so I cancelled one of them and then received another email yet another email confirming the cancellation minus a cancel fee. I replied explaining that I only submitted 2 because your site said the 1st one didn't go through! Also I seen no where saying if you cancel an online order you are punished by a fee! No where! And it wasn't my mistake had it not said it didn't go through (when it actually did) I would never had resubmitted the order.

Your husbands medical condition doesn't prevent him from spreading a virus but a mask will. If you don't want to be socially responsible and wear a mask stay away from stores that require them. Three cheers for Menards enforcing a mask policy.

Customer complaint

Have waited a week to hear anything from menards company. Worst experience. I know that losing my business means nothing to them because I am only one person. However Lowes has gained my trust and I will forever be shopping with them, they have GREAT customer service! Sincerely, Ex Menards Customer but New Lowes Customer

I was screamed at by an employee because my mask was below my nose. It was cold and snowy that day and I put my mask below my nose because my glasses were fogged up and I could not see. I was no where near another shopper or associate and I still got screamed at....

"your mask policy" The mask policy has been a thing for nearly a year now. Simple how-to's to show non compliant fools like you how to wear them has been out there just as long.

YOU just didn't want to comply. Hopefully, you're not lying and were YELLED AT.

People are tired of people like YOU. Stay home if you can't handle a mask you entitled jelly.

Ups driver delivered to wrong address I'm so pissed offfffffff Wtf No one from Menards or ups did not help

How is it Menards fault that a UPS driver delivered your package to the wrong address? How will not shopping at Menards assure that the UPS driver won't deliver other packages to the wrong address?

Are you one of these people that feel a female can't help you? In many cases the store manager is not the best person to solve your problem.

In this case the customer service people or office manager will be the people who actually know how to solve your problem. If a male customer service employee had fixed your problem would you have requested the store manger?

Rebate

Twice now we have made a purchase and not received a receipt so that I can mail it in for the rebate. This time it was a $740.00 purchase. I have made two trips to the store. With no satisfaction! Whatever happened to customer service? All I want is my receipt! In the Athens store today two young girls were working the desk and made zero effort to help me resolve this matter. I will be sure and let everyone know how they treat their customers.

The receipt comes out of the printer at the end of the check out counter for you to take. Why didn't you take it? Doesn't seem like it's their problem that you can't take your receipt.

Menards doesn't extend credit so you don't owe them anything. You may have had a credit card issued by a credit company like HSBC, City Bank, etc. You should try contacting them.
