Menards in Minneapolis, Minnesota - Retail Promotionsghb

I received a bill today which I didn't expect. It pertained a promotion the month of May 2008. Along with my Menards bill,(for April 2008 payment) was this paperwork stating I had points to use towards retail items which was of no cost to me as I had many points to obtain. I've been a good customer for many years with good credit and I feel that I was wrongfully charged for these items, that I expected for no cost and if you don't clear me of this charge, I will no longer be a customer and close my account. I refuse to pay for any of this including any shipping cost and will contact the Better Business Bureau and will be a loyal customer of Home Depot and Lowes. Respectfully, Tim Jones

What the heck points are you talking about? There are no "Points" on any menard logo credit cards.

What type of card is it, a BIG card, Contractrors Card, or a commercial card? The inside flap of the big card return envelope does have a removeable order form for some *** promotional item, but thats from the credit provider, not Menards. Are you sure that the charges on your statement aren't for things that you actuually bought? Or that you are looking at a Visa statement or something?

I would suggest that you take your statement to your local Menards and question what the charges are. I have never heard of anything other than legitimate (finance, late) charges ever being charged onto a menards logo credit account by the credit provider, so I'm a bit baffled as to what you're talking about

i work at the service desk and i do get complaints and threats from people who PROMISE to never shop at menards again and to go to home depot and lowes but low and behold not even a week later i see them shopping at menards again, threating isnt going to scare anyone and it's not going to make us give in, so before u blame menards why dont u call HSBC and get it worked out because crystal ball is right.

Menards in Madison, Wisconsin - Rudeness of manager

Recently purchased a shed from West Bend, WI Menards store. Must say that most of the employees were helpful, but that does not apply to the managers that I had to speak to. The managers would cut me off in mid-sentence, tell me that I was lying, and tell me that there is nothing that they can do. After trying to settle a problem through management, I found the guest services area on the website to issue a complaint, which I did. My complaint was answered and I was told to contact a Mr Siefert at a phone number - however the phone number only had 9 digits. The next time that I was in West Bend I stopped at the store to see this Mr Siefert and was told that his name was "Dean" the exact person that I had lodged my complaint about. Why would I want to talk to him again after he had accused me of lying and kept cutting me off when I had talked to him previously. I do not understand how "guest services " would be helping a "guest" by referring them to the person that is causing the problem.

Juile the front end manager is a big ***!!! I must say she is a very rude piece of ***!

I would like to kick so hard in the *** that my foot comes out her throat!!! The service I received at my local menards in west bend wi wasremarkably terrible. I was having a minor issue, I came in to return a dehumidifier (that was a complete piece of ***) and she found it necessary to scream in my face while I was explaining why I was returning the product. I don't know what crawled up her fat *** that day but she completely took it out on me.

Woww am I pissed with her poor service and will not be returning to that store. I will from now on be shopping at home depot.

There is more to this, but I didn't want to write a "story" After receiving a postcard that said that my "special order" item was in, I went to the store to pick it up and after an hour of looking it could not be located. I called the store later and was told by the employee that the item would be there Sat.

5am on the truck. Went there again on Sat. and it was not there again. Employee told me that it would be there "tomorrow" by 8am.

I went again on Sunday at 11am and was told that again it was not there and would not be there until Monday morning. After going there 3 times to pick the item up that I was told would be there I complained.

That is when I was told that I was lying, etc. I had paid to have this shed I purchased delivered to my home originally, and after this hassle felt that this item should be delivered also.

You don't get quality tools from this place, why expect quality service? You think these people know anything about their tools?

Its a general place for hire...

you work there long enough, you can work yourself into management. Doesn't take a spelling be wiz to make it there either.

As usual,there is more to this story than you are telling. Why were you complaining and why did the store manager think you were lying?

Menards guest services will direct you back to the store when they think your complaint has little or no merit,or if it's something that should be resolved at the store level. Ao what's the REAL story?

coupon for buy one get one 50% off boat bumpers needed 4 units told ihad to order 6 units pay full price on 4 of the units 2 at 50% off. did not sat this on coup. 2 stores said the same thing THIRD STORE HAD ITEM in store but was out of stock. was told i still had to buy 6 units at $19.00 each. isaid you carry it in store. if they were in stock icould buy 4 units. i asked to speak to store mgr. was told he was not available. i asked for corpt. phone # was told they did not have it!

Fire Extinguishers must be present but also secured!

I hope this person sues the *** out of them.

I was injured at a lumberyard when a board flew out, never did anything other than bend over and nearly die. A while later I developed pancreatitis from the severe blow, because I never reported it, never went to the ER.. because I was "to concerned about the worker getting in trouble" that I now must suffer the consequences.

Always report injuries and get a dang lawyer! Other wise johnny isn't going to acknowledge you or anyone, theres a reason he has a staff of lawyers- he's crook :sigh

it's probably best that you don't shop at menards, its hard to converse with a person with the IQ of a wall. as for your dad, sorry your experience was messed up, at every single store, there are mistakes made.

Muncie, IN has a very rude Manager! Christian told me he was not interested in honnoring the price for bagged stone that I had bought the day before.

I bought 250 bags @ $3.25 per bag. He said the price was $3.99. He also said "I don't know you!

Your nobody to me. I have other customers that will buy that product, I don;t want you buying what is left!" So I walked out.

If you guys don't have the sence to fix a little motor yourself then you have no buisness buying things like this. You are like the rest, Looking for someone to blame.

A little advise.

If you don't want to be disapointed, go to a dealer, edcuatate yourself on the item, spend the extra money. Most important, take responsibility for what you buy, Nobody made you spend your money on anything.
