Apology to menards from grammyshopper

in july 2008 i filed a complaint on this site regarding no electric scooters in the store for disabled. i had not checked the ada for requirements for stores before i complained. i have seen these scooters at other food stores and dept. stores with no high rate of theft of the scooters. i now realize the other stores were providing a courtesy for the customers. being disabled does not always mean being fat and lazy. in my case it means having open heart surgery and a broken back and not able to walk because it would put stress on my heart. so many ignorant and rageful and mean people in the world. may God help you. He helps me every day. it is a miracle i am alive today by His mercy only.

I did not get the rebate when I purchased merchandize at Menards

My husband and I purchased Neutral Base Semi-oil paint, 5534634, three gallons, at the Menards store in Rochester, MN. I sent in the rebate the next day after purchasing it, with the sales receipt and the rebate coupon which had 9267 as the transaction number. We were to get a $5.00 rebate on each gallon of paint, which would add up to $15.00. We purchased the paint on 6/6/08. We have not received the rebate money as of yet, today is 10/6/08. Could you please let us know why we haven't received our rebate yet?

"your suggestions is just plain ***"?

uneducated redneck

you obviously do not understand how rebates work. the wish and hope of every company is that you offer rebates, give them the forms and the customer is either too *** or lazy to mail them in.

the company then has never had to pay it. if you did in store, the store would pay it on every item, in the long run costing possibly millions of dollars over the year, so your suggestions is just plain *** and makes no sense at all.

Menards should give up rebates AND do the in store rebates ! It would save ALOT of time and B/S !

Heres there moto the customer comes first ! Ya right

what do you expect, that is only 4 months, look dude, give the company some time. some people expect to buy things and expect the company to actually live up to this ***.

slowes and home dedump will not even give you rebates. if you do not have by christmas or new years, then you have a complaint.

My father went to Menards to purchase a lawnmower. When he applied for the Menards card, the cashier already charged him for the item but told him that if he added a few more, he would qualify for the no interest plan. So he did that with the notion that the cashier...

I highly doubt the girl got fired over that. every employee makes mistakes, I have, we have worked with literally thousands of customers, how do you possibly expect perfect service all the time? We are not robots.

Customer service is a thing of the past anywhere. My wife has a business and we came upon some hard times as well as everyone. I talked to another credit card company and told of our dilemma and they worked with me to help get caught back up. Menard's will get...

Menards in Vestaburg, Michigan - I've been screwed on every order I've ever placed

I am a local contractor in an area where there are not to many places to get materials, so Menard's is the closest place. I guess the only complaint I have is that every time I order materials for a job (Menard's) will deliver only half of the materials to the job then try to charge me for another delivery. Oh wait I have another complaint, I went in to order a roof package and the guy I spoke with told me to special order everything I needed so that it would all come in one package. Then after waiting two weeks I called to see if it was there and they told me yes but not all of it. So I had to wait another two weeks for the rest of it. Well then it finally showed up, Then they told me it would be delivered the following week well that following week arrived and no materials. I just spoke to them and they said there is nothing they could do other than schedule another delivery for a week later. So now I have been telling the customer that his roof will be done several different times do to Menard's #%&*-ups. This has happened on three different jobs you would think I would know better by now.

Ditto on that complaint. As a Canadian, I have been to Menards numerous times, and the last time I had ordered the ICF Fox blocks.

They assured me they were in, so when I arrived after a 5 hour drive, I found they were all in EXCEPT the corner blocks. They assured me they would order them in, no problem. They did this and on my second trip, I found that when I got there, someone had speared them with the fork lift. They again assured me that they would re-order them, no problem.

After my THIRD trip there, another 5 hours EACH WAY, I finally had my blocks.

I have said many times that I should sell shirts that say "I've been pillaged my Menards". I bet I would make a fortune selling these on their own parking lot.

This is one of many stories just like it.

Nothing was ever done to help me with the 30 hours of driving to get this order straightened out. Customer service wanes immensley!!!!

I have done 4 new p5 store fixture sets. Menards is mean lol.

I have been on projects run by 3 different contractors, two of which are now bankrupt. They do whatever they can to not pay and ruin contractors.

I am personally out 20k in just labor for myself. Beware of working for them or atleast have all your stuff together up front and be ready to file a lein.

Menards in Decatur, Illinois - Flimsy products, not worth taking home, very poor guality

25"sweepit 264-1332, very poorly made, we were embrassed your store would carry so poor quality of material. we knew the entire unit would fall apart before a couple uses on our small city lot. The foreign made products have never provided the quality of domestic products. You people exploit child and slave labor while living in luxery. We are excustomers. My grandchildren worked there many years ago and warned us about your disregard for quality. They quit in disappointment after deing offered manageral positions. I know you put profits before fair employment practices. We though we woild try again but you still sell junk in out opinion.

It isn't so much as you get what you paid for,but the material, quality, and pride put into making the product.People blame the retailer all the time for this and it isn't always the retailers fault, most the time it starts at the manufacturer trust because I'm employed by one of them. It's called cuttting cost where it matters the most.OUR POCKET BOOK the retailers really don't have a clue what they are getting. It's called deception, marketing uses this all the time to make the big$.

So your family was offered better pay, and turned it down? Must be rich to be able to just quit. Is it just me or dosent every retailer buy from overseas as well?

We looked at this sweepit 264-1332 and were so disappointed at the quality of the unit. The whole unit is so flimsy that it wouldn't last thru a few passes on our small (50x150) lot which is 50% consumed by house, garage and drive. We find your quality of products...

if by "every few weeks" you mean "every few seconds", then yeah that's about how much time you spend on here. first, your name is based around mine, and you really only seem to post either about me or directly to me.

i'm really starting to get freaked out by you. are you sure you haven't touched young children in the past?

you're right, i go to college... but who said anything about university of phoenix? did you graduate from devry or something?

that could explain your nonsensical manner. probably spent $100,000 for a useless liberal arts degree. good job old man! make your great grandchildren proud!

so while i work my own way through my private business college looking towards the future, you need to get your *** wiped by the nursing home help.

it's sad, but it's what you've been reduced to. i hope you go in peace.

if you're lucky, they might have a few more young asian boys for you in the afterlife. keep the dream alive!!!
