Menards in Columbus, Ohio - Great guest service in lancaster

I have been going to the lancaster, oh store for about 6 months now and I must say that not once have I left unhappy. All the team members are helpful but 2 stand out Kay is a delight I always see her with a smile on her face and she is always ready to help, the other is Lloyd this boy is funny everytime I come in he seems to be in a different department, but he always knows where to take me and usually already knows the answer to fix my problems without giving me to someone else. I love menards even the main manager Katie is a hoot, she is great to. I am a landlord and have alot rental properties and I am so glad I finally found a place where I can shop and not have any hassles.

As a landlord you should look into the MCAM program. Menards. Contractor. Advantage....I forget what the last M is.

They offer all kinds of extra service and rebates for contractors and property maint.&Management qualifies.

I'm one of the reps at one of the other Ohio stores. And if you're shopping with us anyway, than it only makes sense to take us up on some free money

Yeah, I feel bad for you. Its not going to get better either unfortunately.

If I were you, I'd just get out. You seem like you're a smart person and I'm sure Target/Best Buy/Lowe's would offer you similar pay and a lot better environment. I've worked for Menards for YEARS but I know how rough it can be for some people in your situation.

I'd just get out. Menards treats people like ***....look at how Dennis/Gaylan talk to people....why do you think your FEM can get away with it!

I called the Muncie, In. store to get a price on treated lumber, when I went to the store to pick itup, the price was $3.00 MORE per board, than I was quoted. THIS STINKS. I talked to the store manager, he would not help me. I asked for his supervisor,s name, he told...

Grow the *** up and quit you *** crying! Put a smile on, do your *** job, and be happy you at least have a job.

About 6 weeks ago I purchased 850 Holland pavers at your Hammond store. At the time of purchase I asked if the pavers would be any cheaper than the 39 cents that I paid for each. I was told that they would not be any cheaper because they were no cheaper last year. I...

silly rabbit, not all items are actually listed on the computer as being on the upcoming sale. granted they do add some things for the future but only items in the sale AD are on the computer. if a particular item is put on sale (not the sale ad) then an item may not present to be on sale.

I also live in the hometown of menards and I NEVER shop there. I do not because I know to many people who have worked for old John Menard and have never heard one good thing about him.

Not only did he block out Home Depot in his hometown to fill his pockets instead of helping the community with more jobs and a little variety. He makes his sales people get name brands like hitachi so cheap that they are forced to make them with cheaper parts making them name brand junk. Shop at menards if you want reject seconds, junk tools, poor under paid workers who have no clue how to help you find what you need and to deal with the mail in rebate *** for omost all sales.

Read up a little on how menards works and I bet you will shop there less too.

Menards in Columbus, Ohio - Your web site sucks

All I want to know is what are 2x4s selling for. Why can't you people have a simple web site for us commond people. All we want to know is the price of things so we're not out running all over(gas is not cheap) to see if you have what we want and the price of it. Also while I'm pissed off Why can't you people hire some help that knows something. I needed some pipe fittings the other day and was *** lucky to find someone that even knew where they were let alone how to use them. I knew more then sales person and I'm not even a plumber.

Be responsible, open your eyes, pick up the phone. Stop wasting your time pointing out the fact that you are "challenged" and cant function in society without special extra help.

Let it go. Life is too short.

Freight Slayer said all that needed to be said, really. Waaaay back in 1876, a man by the name of Alexander Graham Bell invented a device.

Called it the "telephone".

Hear it might be able to solve your dilemma. Dummy.

Your ***. Maybe for plumbing fittings go to the plumbing department. Where exactly did you think they were going to be?

Insulation isle?

Paint desk?

Rebar rack?

Cereal isle?

Garden Center?

Pizza cooler?

Maybe, just maybe in the plumbing department? You, know where the toilets, bathtubs, pipe(& conviently pipe fittings) are. The plumbing department that has 20' wide big green neon sign stating "plumbing" on it? Could that be it? Maybe?

Each individual store is priced differently for stock materials due to differing market conditions. The only way to effectively price ALL products available in that scenario would be to list the item from the highest priced market. That doesn't do the consumer or the Menards any good.

Being as you are clearly set up with the internet, one would have to ask why you not utilized telephone technology to take solve this challenge.

As far as not finding more knowledgable employees, whom did you ask? If they were not in the plumbing section, they are simply not trained for plumbing product knowledge. Each department the Menards have employees trained for that department only. Yes, it would be awesome if every single employee knew every possible thing about every possible product on this earth available to the Menards. But, really guy? Honestly? These people make $8 an hour. If they were truly that intelligent to be able to fulfill your knowledge quota, do you think they'd be really working at The Menards? Guy/gal knows everything about everything. Works at the Menards for $8 per hour. Could be curing cancer, aids, developing permanent world peace....nah, that guy/*** - they're going to go work at the Menards for $8 per hour.

So you joined the armed forces, were probably discharged, dishonorabley, just so you could get a discount? If you wanted a discount, you probably should have joined Menards instead of the Millitary.
