On October 1st, we brought a Maytag refrigerator for $599. We paid $49.99 for the delivery. $39.99, plus $10 for the "no guest assist." We were told that "No Guest assist" means that there would be two delivery men to do move our new appliance. The disposal fee was...

You needed another service you should be charged for the other service. The contract stated to bring in your needs purchase.

Do you think the driver makes 300 bucks a week by spending 2 hrs on a job that should have taken 20 minutes? Thanks for the long read, I'm glad you are displeased, it means someone made you pay for wasting their time.

Gagshaga is right! It's unfortunate people think he is complaining and should man up or even worst have a better attitude.

The way customers treat you is horrible. They ask completely ridiculous questions, they often treat you like you have no value what so ever and should just do whatever they say because they are the customer, they are horrible listeners; you often have to repeat yourself several times or they totally miss the point.

The jobs you're required to do are just silly/***. Putting 100+ lb items up onto racking 10 feet in the area using a ladder. All in the efforts to make more room to sell more stuff!

It's hostile and the work required often does not reflect the pay. The break room is a prime example it's a 10x10 space where the public are allowed to go and can see from the cash registers. No fridge! I was told it so small because they needed more room to sell more stuff!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!

Most people have to walk to their vehicle which on average takes me 3 minutes there and 3 minutes back, that's 6 minutes of my break walking when I've been walking all day as it is. If you take a break over 35 minutes you lose 2 points, 1 point if you call LOL.

I work at Menards and I think it is pretty unfair to expect all of the workers to know everything about everything being sold in the store. I mean the store is giant it is enough work to know about the merchandise in my department let alone the rest of the store. But the employee was wrong, if I am unsure about a question a guest has I find someone that can help them better

Menards Rebates International, screwed up.

I purchased items at Menard s that were free after rebate and sent the in a timely manner. I am used to them screwing up so I document EVERYTHING. After eight weeks I contacted them wondering where my rebate check was. After one week, they told me they had not record of it and I could email them documentation. I scanned in copies of my receipts and copied rebate receipts ad emailed them back. One week later I received a reply that said they would not honor the rebate because the items were returned to the store. I printed out their email and placed it on my work bench with the unused, unopened items next to the email, took a picture and emailed it back to them. The message suggested that if an employee of Menard's returned the items they should dismiss them and prosecute them because the obviously were not returned. I imagine in another week I will have a response from them. If they don't issue the rebate, what should be my next move? I can return the items, but since they have screwed up TWICE now, I would prefer to make their life as miserable as possible until they fix their mistake(s).

if you can read then you should read the rebate receipt,it states that they have the right to reject any rebate for any reason.if you didnt fill it out completely or not legible they dont have to send a thing to you.if you did an exchange you have to send the new rebate receipt not the old one because it will only show you returned.i dont know how you people have so many problems ive been sendig them for quite a while and not one problem has come up.if you do things correctly and neatly there are no problems

I contacted the corporate office, within an hour I had a response. Within three hours the rebate center told me they would send out my rebate. It pays to step up the corporate ladder.

You can go to the store, have them look up the reciept and see where it was and when returned. This will allow them to look up video footage of the return if it was done in the recent past. If the return was quite some time ago, the video might not be there.

Menards in Washington, District Of Columbia - Shorted materials

Menards has messed up my pole barn materials. No grade board received, no entire back wall metal panels, no white screws for my white metal, sent and charged for too many posts, two different set ups for sliding door sent, wtong size of concrete bags sent. Wouldnt recommend them. They are not thorough, and wont help you fix problems after they receive your money. Took too long for delivery almost 3 months when told 4-6 weeks. It seemed to me they didnt care, rude on phone, wouldnt send missing items. I am not satisfied with Menards at all and will not go through them again.

I work there now. I knew that GM before they had him move over to the new Richfield store because he's really good at his job.

I don't know about any $2 million debt, considering how many awards the store has won the store in the 4 years he was there. Seems like you might be exaggerating things, leaving out details, or just lying altogether. Just because you had one bad week with the store doesn't mean the company is horrible.

It only means you had some unfortunate luck. Maybe someday you will grow up, because I hope you don't bring kids into this world with your wife if you're always going to act like a child.
