From what I know, the Menards rebates are third party hosted by Rebates International.

I think you will find what you know is wrong. I think you will find Rebates International is a part of Menards housed in their corporate offices.

My guess is that most people waiting for Menards rebates have actually received them and threw them away. They come as a post card that is folded in half.

The back side is an advertisement for one of their products. Unless you look closely you won't see that it is folded in half with the rebate inside and just toss it thinking it is junk mail.

I was in at mennards today in Lafayette Indiana..wondering around what I thought was general area for acrylic paints set..when I heard this young gentlemen ask me if I needed assistance...I did...told him I was doing some craft projects..I needed acrylic paints...he took me where it was..handed it to me...I thanked him and ask his name...he replied jeff...so big shout out to jeff

Criterion freezer cost me 500 in loss of meat.

I bought the freezer about 2 years ago and it already went bad and costed me $500 in meat and cant find anyone with parts to fix this piece of junk. I am just pissed that Menards wont stand by the product or junk they sell. They would not exchange it because it was past the one year warranty. Im done with Menards.

Do you really think you'll find another store that would exchange a freezer that is one year out of warranty? The manufacturers cover their product that ends at some point.

Why do you feel it is the responsibility of the retail store after that point? When you purchased your freezer there were plenty of choices of where to buy and what brand you could purchase.

Sure, the Criteirion had a low price but keep in mind that a low price can come from using low quality components and offering less service in the long run. In the future look for quality name brands that rate well in reviews for durability and service.

I received the so called rebate, You have to shop at store only NO cash value! 11% rebate my BUTT! I have a Lowes Card 10% off every time I use it there! right off the top, NO waiting! I won't deal with Menard anymore. RIP OFF!!!!

Lowes prices are at least 10% higher than Menards on almost everything and some 50-60% higher than Menards. Be mad and vent but stop threatening that you'll save your 10% at Lowes. Get a Menards card and you'll save the 10-60% off the original price, get the 11% rebate and get the rebates for using your card to purchase.

Itโ€™s clearly advertised as 11% rebate sale with the mention of the merchandise credit check. Clearly printed on the ad. An awesome sale and always get rebates back 6-8 weeks

Have you bothered to look at their advertising, their signs or even the rebate form you filled out. It is pretty clear that the rebate comes in the form of a merchandise credit check.

Bad service

I ordered 5 interior doors from your Matteson store on Jan 14 2020. On Jan 22 I went to pick up the paid order and found that the customer service manager Megan never put the order through. However chuck the building manager did find 3 of the 5 doors. 1 returned by another customer. This still left me in a bad way. Party at my home missing doors. Trash picked up old doors. After all this. The 1 30ร—80 door the hinges were put on wrong from the distribution center. Of course the Matteson store did not have any more doors in stock. So I went to the Tinley Park store with my receipt and damaged door hoping to get the doors from this store. They were in stock. Pam the front desk manager informed me that I would have to buy the doors from her store. I told her. The doors were on sale when I purchased them. She was not willing to give me the sale price. I was allowed to exchange the damage door. Needless to say. This has been awful! No compensation at all for my inconvenience.

Your post is confusing and misleading. Were these doors stocked at the store or special order?

Employees don't "put orders through". If it is a special order it is transmitted to the vendor electronically as soon as your transaction at the register is completed. If it is a stock item it just registers as a sale against stock. They do not set stock items aside, you are expected to take your purchase with you when you make the purchase.

From what you say I can only assume this was a purchase of stock doors and they were just out of stock when you came back to pick them up. Had you called to check stock before going in to pick them up? Don't expect retail store to act as a warehouse for products you purchase until you are ready for them.

You seem to think they owe you "compensation". Would you have been willing to pay a storage fee if they had set the doors aside for you?

I go into the store with my husband to buy molding and of course everything is on the second floor and to make things worse the escalator is not working We are in the store to buy minimum 30pcs And they donโ€™t fit in the elevator either so we asked an employee if there is any other way to bring the items downstairs to pay or if we could have someone help out The employee says there is no other and you have to bring items downstairs yourself if you want them Itโ€™s a second floor so itโ€™s quite a few steps for my husband to bring everything down himself plus I am in the store with him but I canโ€™t help because I have a broken foot Imagine if my husband was to take everything down on his own and he gets injured Can you imagine the HUGE lawsuit we would be filing against Menard for such an extreme low customer service/satisfaction If something so necessary like the escalator is broken service should be called in immediately to try and repair plus have signs blocking so no one goes down thru there But of course there was nothing blocking which is an OSHA violation

You should have left and gone to Home Depot. Theirs is all on one floor. You would have also saved a lot of time sorting through the knotty and twisted mold ng you often find at Menards.

Being 81 years old, when I purchased 2 50 lb bags of bird seed the cashier asked if I needed help loading them into my car. They always ask which I appreciate.

After the employee placed the bird seed in your car did you notice him hide in the card corral enclosures in the parking lot to play on his phone and smoke for 5 minutes? Try asking an employee a question which requires effort on their part such as which of the variety of bird seed the sale price applies to, or which ones attract specific type of birds, or ask if someone can bring down stock from the upper pallet racking. 9 out of 10 times I ask an employee at any of my local menards stores for assistance or advice they will reply "i don't know", "thats not my job" or "thats not my department" then run away at the speed of light.

I was able to reach Menards customer service today, after finding a different number by Google. She resolved the issue and assured me that credits would be issued.The card was declined because the billing address was the same as the shipping address (which it is not). So it was my mistake.

Why are you complaining about Menards? The date on the can shows best by 2021, not outdated.

Seems like an improper seal on the can or other manufacturing problem.

Your complaint is with the manufacturer, not the store you bought it at. Most food products have an 800 number on the product that you can call with quality issues.

Menards is known as the Aldi of home improvement. Most likely what happened is another retailer pulled their inventory due to similar issues then menards comes along and buys the inventory at a low ball price and resells them at their stores to people like yourself or they donate it to a charity in exchange for free advertising and brag about how their such a caring and responsible business.

If there were quality issues like this the manufacturer would have taken it back and destroyed it. They don't want the liability of spoiled food on the shelves.

Than why hasn't menards removed the item from their shelves or posted a voluntary recall sign where the item is displayed in the store??? They want people to keep buying this hazardous item in hope the consumer will quietly discard the item at their own loss instead of returning to the store, or worse posting to a public website.

It's only one can. It probably wasn't sealed properly and could have been purchased anywhere. Contact the manufacturer.

Again why should menards take any responsibility for anything whatsoever when they can simply pass the buck to someone else?? If menards can't even have staff that can properly load overstock merchandise into pallet racking without it falling and killing a customer in a store aisle open to the general public do you really think they give a ---- about 78 cent cans of beefaronie???

Menards fired one the best managers theyโ€™ve ever had in Angola Indiana name is Zak he was good to the customers he was like family if he seen youโ€™re going outside with a load he would get up make sure

How do you know he was fired? If he was actually fired they would have had a reason and won't be brining him back.

Is he just gone and you assume he was fired? He may have been promoted to another store or even quit and went to work elsewhere.

Back in September we spent $2,189.00 on held Wen windows the girl at Menards south in Lansing mi wrote the order up wrong so they crank out the opposite if they were supposed to open we didnโ€™t no it until the installer put them so we had to reorder them again the right way this time so it cost us another $450.00 to get the new ones put in Menards wonโ€™t pay us for there mistake they blame It on the window company instead of wanting us to be happy there taking care of there help and not the CUSTOMER so when the windows are paid off MENARDS you mist like lost a long time CUSTOMER

Didn't you pay attention to what was being ordered? It's spelled out on the order.

When I sold doors and windows it was amazing how many people didn't listen to the questions you asked them.

I could ask what side the door opened on as you pull it towards you and a husband and wife would stand there and argue about it as one of the two was looking at it as the pushed it away from them. It is always important to look at the details on an order before you actually place the order.
