Seeing on how you're such an expert on cutting keys why not do it yourself NEXT TIME. Menards uses a machine to cut the keys.

It's near impossible to mess it up unless you select the wrong blank. I've cut thousands of keys on that machine and even when using the correct blank often it will not work. Customer hands you the key you match it. It's a number 66 one of the most common you grab a blank on the backside it says the cassette to use.

Insert the cassette - then the keys - Hit button complete. Eye it up afterwards to make sure it didn't make any noticeable errors. Even when it looks identical it still may not work.

Your real problem is with the company that makes the machine to cut the keys. I suggest you contact them.

Menards rip off

I got a bath sink that was boxed so it could not be looked at in store. I felt safe the packing was so good. When my installers undid it, it was chipped bad. When I called Minards they were ready with the smart reply "you should have unboxed it and looked at it in the store." I feel it happened before it was boxed since it was boxed so tight. I feel Menards knew it and it happens a lot cause they were so rude. I am out the install and a useless sink. Never trust Minards. And be ready to be treated with disrespect cause that is what Minards is about.

stuf gets dropped. Pick from the back, and pick the best one. Even on little things. Let alone big things. The care of the box usually tells you everything. The ripped corners, etc....

Pick the freshest box, forklift drivers drop things and dont wanna lose their jobs. I wouldn't either. I also wouldnt know if you dropped it taking it out of the box! So, check merchandise, especially if the box is beat up. True though, a big box, I wouldn't have checked it unless I suspected it. Menards isn't responsible, but you may have got robbed.

Also, you didn't unpack it. Who are your installers? Do they drink? Make mistakes? You didn't even unpack it, or see it?

couldve been them too. did you check for marks for anywhere in your house, or outside?

wait. wait. is the sink heavy by any chance? did these installers have to go up stairs, or around doors?

hmmm.....

Really, boxed too tight? That is the sorriest excuse I have ever heard, congrats. That MINARDS should be ashamed of theirselves.

MENARDS ducks parking lot liability from their shopping carts - I was shocked to hear that Menards refused to cover the damage to my vehicle after one of their shopping carts blew out of the cart corral (which has no barrier for containment). It's hard to...

As an update to this. I sued Menards in small claims court and won.

They paid for my damage. All store chains have insurance for parking lot incidents. They just don't want to file claims that may force their rates higher including cart corrals without barriers to prevent "runaways".

P.s.

To those who are weak minded.

Just because you post a sign that says your not responsible doesn't mean you are not responsible. I won my suit based on those merits.

Duluth Mn.hwy53 store. Went there for some plumbing parts, found bins of valves with at least 4-5 different part #'s in each specified bn. Caused a huge delay i my task. Maybe it should say K-MART otside instead. Straighten your stuff out. May not ever come back....

Our stuff in clean and sorted. Its *** that keep moving *** and tossing it in other bins.

We have tens of thousands of items in plumbing alone and for 5-6 people to keep it all straight is a challenge. Go to home depot we don't *** care, we actually prefer it!

It's customers like you that makes working in retail a terrible experience. Did you approach him with respect?

So what you spent thousands of dollars there, so have many other people. How does that make you better than that employee?

And respect is earned, not commanded. I think the word you mean is courtesy.

What wrong with the Adams family? They may have looked different and acted different, but when it came down to it they were a nice bunch of people who understood what real respect was. You need to get a freaking clue and stop being so single minded.
