I purchased an MTD "Pro" line trimmer, the best most expensive model they offer. Immediately the grass wrapped around the shaft above the trimmer head stopping the head. It required taking the head apart to clear it. I tried again. The plastic head separated jamming...

do not get gas powered equipment from this store, get it from a place that will replace it on the spot if it is bad or refund your money, gas added or not.

Menards in Dulles, Virginia - Mr.

Placed an online order with Menards. Options were as a guest or as a "member" and i chose the guest option. I entered all shipping information after ordering $3,200.00 in equipment. They took all my credit card information and i "finished" the order only to be then redidirected to another page requiring me to become a menards member. when i (after an extensive search for their phone number) called menards, they told me they dont allow customers to talk to anyone. they refused to tell me if i had placed an order or not (and at this point i still have no idea whether or not i have.

I feel that customer help is lacking. Menards seems to help when you are in the store and you make a purchase and they have your money and then it ends there. They can't hand us our receipt, we the customer have to get it from the machine and then when you order...

The manager at the Cheyenne store is a rude ****. He walks around with a beanie on looking like a ***.

He acts like it's a prison sentence to talk to a customer. I will never go back again.

Such a ****. And it is a learned behavior by the employees as well.

Your issue is with Capitol One, not Menards. Menards has nothing to do with the card after you sign up for it It's like this for all major retail chain credit cards.

The only reason they even offer them is to guarantee repeat business. Menards makes zero money on interest that is all going to Capitol One because they do all the WORK AND BILLING! All Menards gets is the cash for what you bought!

They don't care if you don't pay Capitol One, because Menards already got paid! YOU SHOULD HAVE TITLED THIS Capitol One - inappropriate late charge + interest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't blame Menards. Blame the independent contractor (or the Menards employee who gave you his information if you must).

Did you check out the contractor before allowing him to tear into your home? That's on YOU. Due diligence was not done here, otherwise you probably would have learned that this guy is a *** ahead of time.

I see that you've called Menards out but not the contractor by name. Why is that?

Bought a yard devil mower. Start cord broke after 4 weeks and I brought the mower back and was told "once it has gas or oil in it it cant be returned only repaired" .That sounded strange because I purchased the mower with oil in it.. So they refer me to a nearby shop...

Why would you buy a mower from Menards? The only brand name they have is MTD, and they are bottom of the barrel.

The cheap price is nice, but as with all that Menards sells...

You get what you pay for. Next time, go to Lowes or Sears and get you a REAL mower instead of a toy.

Did you have your receipt showing you had paid $85? Without the receipt they are only going to give you credit for the lowest sale price.

I purchases a Yardsport YS-200 XLT on 6-14-2013 in Hastings, NE. Since that time it has either not ran or has been in the repair shop which is over hundred miles from my home. The parking brake cable broke within two after I got home, then the next thing that happened...

I pretty well had the same problem two times. The first time I replaced all the electrical harness, but think if I would have worked through the sections probably won't have done the whole thing.

Second time it was the brake sensor. But agree with you that it is a pile of junk.

I think you'll find they will exchange it without a receipt. For future reference you will find the quality of a door lock is in direct proportion to what you pay for it.

Pick up a more expensive lock. The weight alone will tell a big part of the story.

Thicker, higher quality materials are used in more expensive locks. Isn't the security of your home worth a few extra dollars?
