I have been a customer of Menards for about 20 yrs, and do appreciate everything about the retail store. However, within the last few months you have handled your Credit Cards thru Capitol One and since then I have been charged late fees twice in appropriately. I...

Your issue is with Capitol One, not Menards. Menards has nothing to do with the card after you sign up for it It's like this for all major retail chain credit cards.

The only reason they even offer them is to guarantee repeat business. Menards makes zero money on interest that is all going to Capitol One because they do all the WORK AND BILLING! All Menards gets is the cash for what you bought!

They don't care if you don't pay Capitol One, because Menards already got paid! YOU SHOULD HAVE TITLED THIS Capitol One - inappropriate late charge + interest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't blame Menards. Blame the independent contractor (or the Menards employee who gave you his information if you must).

Did you check out the contractor before allowing him to tear into your home? That's on YOU. Due diligence was not done here, otherwise you probably would have learned that this guy is a *** ahead of time.

I see that you've called Menards out but not the contractor by name. Why is that?

Why would you buy a mower from Menards? The only brand name they have is MTD, and they are bottom of the barrel.

The cheap price is nice, but as with all that Menards sells...

You get what you pay for. Next time, go to Lowes or Sears and get you a REAL mower instead of a toy.

Did you have your receipt showing you had paid $85? Without the receipt they are only going to give you credit for the lowest sale price.

I purchases a Yardsport YS-200 XLT on 6-14-2013 in Hastings, NE. Since that time it has either not ran or has been in the repair shop which is over hundred miles from my home. The parking brake cable broke within two after I got home, then the next thing that happened...

I pretty well had the same problem two times. The first time I replaced all the electrical harness, but think if I would have worked through the sections probably won't have done the whole thing.

Second time it was the brake sensor. But agree with you that it is a pile of junk.

I think you'll find they will exchange it without a receipt. For future reference you will find the quality of a door lock is in direct proportion to what you pay for it.

Pick up a more expensive lock. The weight alone will tell a big part of the story.

Thicker, higher quality materials are used in more expensive locks. Isn't the security of your home worth a few extra dollars?

I paid for my $6.95 worth of merchandise at the Lima, Ohio Eastown Store with a crisp $20.00 to Cynthia who put the cash in the drawer then proceeded to give me change based off the amount she put in at $10. I very quickly proceeded to tell her that I gave her a $20...

Being polite can go a long way. Not sure why they wouldn't have counted the drawer or looked at the video tape.

Not sure why you didn't calm down and ask them later to do just that. Sometimes we let our anger get the best of us.

Menards in La Crosse, Wisconsin - I'm Pissed!

I was trying to buy a *** wacker by mtd, they had one left on the shelf the box was badly damaged so I went to a department person and asked them to show me what it looked like and when they pulled it out of the box the two end that attach one was bent badly. I asked that is not supposed to be that way so would they take some money off the price, and he told me that it's suppose to be that way and they would not take any money off! So I got mad pulled the display model off and said that's *** and told him they could still take money off the display model and put the damaged one from the box on the shelf and they still told me know! *** you menards I will never return

You're acting like Menards forced you to buy something that was broke... What are you PlSSED about really?

Does life keep beating you down? The reason Menards said no is because they can defect the unit out and not lose any money at all. Had they discounted it to you they would have lost money....

Before you get so angry about nothing you should take a step back and look at the bigger picture.

Visited Menards for the first time today. I found items with no price and no one around to help. I walked up front to the checkout to ask for help with prices. Waited about 10 min. for someone to show up who did not know the price of what I was looking at. He said he...

Menards in Warsaw, Indiana - Garage door bent & wrong parts

I purchased new garage door along with 2000 dollars of other lumber and it took them over an hour to find a complete door and hardware. I told the manager that I think I have the wrong parts but he said he knows what he was doing because he does it daily. I drove 57 miles to get there so I wanted to make sure I had everything before leaving. Well sure enough the door was not only bent from the banding from packing but I had the wrong struts that are to strengthen the entire door. I called the store and was told that I bought the last one but I could drive to another store 50 more miles farther and get the parts I needed. Meanwhile I had already taken down my door and got it hauled away. The manager told me he was not responsible so I could return it but that's all he could do. MENARDS is the worst in customer service. They advertise a low price but the low advertised price usually comes after you mail in a rebate and then you get a check that only can be redeemed at Menards. I spent 3000 dollars this weekend and can't get a reasonable effort from their employees to even make this right. Jerry

I always find it comical when people have to say how much they spent. Is 3000 dollars alot to us?

Yeah most likely but menards deals with contractors that would drop 20k easy every day in every store. So really 3k really means very very little to them.
