They would much rather loose a customer who doesn't want to be responsible than to loose a customer or employee to the virus. Be a responsible citizen and wear a mask in public to help reduce the spread of the virus.

Your civil rights are not being violated. Allowing you in the store without a mask would defeat the purpose of the mask policy and potentially expose their employees to the virus. Home Depot and Lowes don't want you in their stores without a mask either.

Wrong! The mandates say that certain heath issues are exempt from wearing a mask.

By law even in a state of emergency they cannot make you wear a mask!

It is a rights violation. Do the research!

You are being ridiculous! Noone dies from wearing a simple little mask.

I'm elderly and have COPD.

A mask is uncomfortable, but it does not interfere with my oxygen machine at all. Everyone who's healthy enough to make it all the way to the store CAN wear a mask, they just don't want to.

Haven't you heard about people that have lung issues example asthma you are not suppose to be wearing a mask. So if you don't know about medical maybe you shouldn't be commenting.

Received bad service

On the day of 6/6/20 I visited one of your stores in the St Louis area. I was given a Menards gift card and wanted to buy windows. Told the man at the help desk that I wanted 36x36, single hung, insulated, no flange windows. He searched on the computer and I followed him to the section where he pointed out four windows. I said I will take them so he printed out a purchase ticket, which I found out at the cashier that only one window was on the ticket. Customer service fixed the problem and I purchased four windows. On the day of 6/7/20 I returned to pick up the windows. I was first told that they only had one. I explained that there was four sitting on the floor yesterday and thats what I came to get. After loading the first window I discovered that the window was the wrong size and the other windows that were mysteriously found, were wrong as well. A third employee proceeded to tell me that size window was not available from the manufacturer without a flange. He also told me that he only had three with a flange in the size I wanted. I exchanged for the three available and received refund for the fourth. Had to drive another 45 minutes to another store to get the fourth window where I sat for 30 minutes more. All in all I spent 4 hours of my time simply because the first man I encountered didnt tell me what I wanted wasnt available in the first place. This was my first visit to a Menards and probably my last as the service from start to finish was bad.

Unfairly treated at the store.

when i went to manerds in baraboo they seem to give a hard time cause i wont wear a mask by law idont so this is agisnt my right so when i ask for the head boss over the whole store i was refused.so just cause im a biker i was giving tbem hard time ok but no i just wanted to speak to some one that runs the franchise store the people is diane and korie at the gate i feel my rights have been pushed a side and for gottin i wont stand for it i just needed to get a dam tarp thats all.in wisconsin its not law to where masks but im not buying one from menards how do i i know that the person that was not whereing one dont have any disese or sick there arnt wraped so why should buy a mask from someone that dont where one them shelf just the hasard alone with them not being rapped is not right is wrong iand how do i know that they arnt got the covid 19 on it you dont so why do i need to get sick from a un santised mask i expect a call from high up in management becuase this against my rights.this happend in baraboo wis.fact not even the cart pushers dont where them and so did diane at the sevise desk.so whu are my rights been violated at this point.so its a public place what gives thanot

You need to revisit your high school civics. There are very important rights protected under our Constitution.

A business requiring all shoppers to wear a mask does not violate any of your rights protected under the Constitution. You not liking a store's policy gives you no right to scream "my rights are being violated."

You are shopping on private property. If the owner of the store doesn't want people in their store that won't wear a mask to help slow the spread of the virus you can be asked to leave.

If you don't like the policy you are free to shop elsewhere. Get ready to wear on though as more and more cities and states are requiring them as the virus spreads.

Menards - Horrible policy
Fact: Anyone that has had a flu shot in the past 10 years will test positive for Covid-19. I emailed Menards corporate and let them know that I will not be shopping at their stores as long as this policy is in effect. Here is their response: Chris I'm very sorry, but we are doing the best we can to keep everyone safe. Hopefully the need to do so will be temporary and we can all get back to normal. Thank you for your patience and understanding - Ray Customer Relations Menards, Inc. The only face covering Ill wear is my sons T-Rex dinosaur costume. This will be fun!

Your mask policy is out of line. We are not sheep and being told what to wear in your store is in institutional. If I was sick I would not be shopping. The mask should. E up to the individual person who shops there. I was not near anyone while shopping and cashier refused to check me out if I didn't put on a mask. Keisha also told me the same policy. I went across the street to Home Depot and was pleasantly surprised their prices were much lower than yours. I have spent thousands of dollars at Menards but you will not be seeiy me again. I spoke to assistant manager , Mark and he suggested I shop elsewhere. I did...and I will. Your store was practically empty. I will be sure to share on social media.

The Menards stores in my area ar bustier than either Lowes or Home Depot. Unless you are blind it is hard to miss the signs as you enter the store telling you that you need a mask.

Fortunately there are stores like Menards that are taking the virus seriously. As you see the cases of the virus climb you are starting to see.

more cities require masks in public. Get used to the idea of wearing a mask.

Refused Entry to the store

I was refused entry at the Menard's located on Alpine yesterday, May 28,2020. Previous weeks, I was able to declare I had a medical condition which prevented me from wearing a mask. Yesterday morning, I was denied entry. I spoke to the manager and told him I had asthma and difficulty breathing as it was and to wear a mask was not possible for me. I showed him that I had a copy of my prescription for albuterol with my name and offered to show my identification to prove, I was Michael B and the prescription was mine. I told him he was in violation of the American Disability Act and I should be exempt from wearing a mask. He told me I had to wear a mask in order to shop there. OR I could order online and pick it up at the store, but I was still required to wear a mask to pick up my order. He refused to listen to me and think rationally. Yesterday, was my birthday. I had a $75.00 gift card and my coupon for my free birthday gift. I left the store to go to Lowe's. Other stores are beginning to file lawsuits for discrimination and I rather not go that route. I have spent over 50K or more during the last 30 years, patronizing you store. My sister and her husband were refused entry on Monday. My sister is a retired doctor and also has asthma. She tried to explain to your employees they were in violation of Federal Law. She and her husband were ordered to leave or Menard' s would call the police. They vowed NEVER to patronize your store again. I need an answer as to why I was discriminated against because I have a legitimate medical condition, and I was treated so poorly.

Online ordering

I ordered 4 boxes of brown suncast garden edging I checked status online and read that they were picked up by customer. I called the store in Avon Ohio and was told there was a mix up in paperwork and it was marked as picked up. The woman there said shed fix it and ship it out and send me a tracking number. That didnt happen. I contacted customer service who said theyd get back to me at some point. Some point never came. I contacted them again with no response. I called Avon again and spoke with manager Brandon who said they gave it to some other customer. He was rude unhelpful and did want to help me. He had a bad attitude. Called back to Avon spoke to another manager and I demanded a refund. They granted my request. Not a single person there apologized for the inconvenience and mix up nor did anyone try to make it right. I told them I was going to file a complaint against them and each person I spoke to didnt care. The response I got was cool and ok. The manager that refunded my money told me thats been happening a lot in the warehouse and things are crazy back there. Unacceptable. I called corporate in Eau Claire but only got voicemail. I did reach a receptionist or something who sent me to voicemail. I called back and demanded to speak to someone. She refused and said I had to send a letter or fax. You say customers are you priority but I have seen NO evidence of this. Two days later fedex drops off 2 boxes of the 4 I had ordered. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE HERE?

Ordered fence materials 3/30. Delivery was cancelled twice by store. 1st time they couldn't find part of order after I was notified it was all there. 2nd time my fence posts were sold out of my pulled order. Spoke to many mgrs. Brandon promised delivery fee would be refunded. I asked for a discount due to delay by store and mistakes made on there part. When order did arrive there were 3 broken fence panels. I was to be.credited for those panels and delivery fee to be removed. Nothing so far. Brandon promised free delivery and Wayne and Justin promised credit for broke panels. Nothing done to date. Still no credit showing on my bank records for panels or delivery fee. This was a terrible customer service experience and I will probably never shop at Menards again as a result. I am disabled and stress contributes to my medical conditions...
