Menards in Traverse City, Michigan - Over Charged

Dear Sir, I am unhappy with the product I've ordered from Menards. I don't understand two charges I've received on my Menards bill,one is the charge (1129723 $59.64) and the other is (1129708 $79.99) that's almost $140.00 that I'm getting nothing for. If I come in and want a 2"x4" and you don't have it, will I be charged those two charges for you not having a 2"x4" and coming back later to pick it up. The entire problem started with your poor planning. If you're going to buy an item you should be able to take that item with you when you purchase it.

The funny part is you did not learn from the first screw up and repeated your mistake. Menards does not ship items between stores. Menards does not sound like they treated you with lack of respect, they just told you NO, which I would like to add they have every right to do.

Items like this once it goes on seasonal status is no longer going to be stocked in the store and is done for the season. You really should reflect on this and in the future make sure you have the means to take home what you buy.

Automatic Key Cutting Machine Review

Having a key made by automatic key cutting machine named "Minute Key ". Key was selected by machine for cutting, which was totally wrong and then having store employee saying that not to worry because it will work. You pay at the machine, you get no receipt, and you have to call a Customer Service number to get a refund. The Menards store would not do anything. They said, "We didn't sell the key".

Menards would have just checked the security footage to see if you had taken it with you or not. The receipt would have giving the date/time and cashier/lane it happened and EVERY REGISTER has a camera right on it.

Also you state that you were excused of stealing it while they claimed to put it away, this is a very odd comment. Anyways this complaint is either from a major stoopid person or a troll.
