Menards Rebate Review

Menards rebates are scams. Their computer shows I utilized a rebate even though I DIDN'T submit a rebate! Now I'm trying to return the item and they're deducting a rebate I was never issued. What a scam.

Hate to tell you but $3,500 is a nice purchase but in a store like Menards it's not an unusually large purchase. Orders for kitchens or windows often exceed $10,000.

People buying materials for an entire house can spend $50,000 or more. I expect that even without an extra discount you felt the price was competitive or you would have made the purchase elsewhere.

More than likely the cashier may have had a long and tiring day. Or probably she was not rude at all.

People like you expect everyone to treat you like a princess. This is the real world and you need to understand that. Your lack of details of the said event shows that you were probably an impatient little priss. Expecting perfect attention to you at all times.

The cashier has other customers to get to. That said, she probably had many many customers she had to deal with. Until you become a cashier yourself you will never understand the experience a thankless hard job like a cashier can be. Get off your high horse and think about what the other person you are *** at has to deal with on a daily basis.

You dont even know what this cashier is dealing with in her own persanal life. A death of some one, a sick chiled or lived one, bills, school, break up, divorce, you dont know.

I have heard from many sources that even the bosses there are not easy, and sometimes not nice, on the employees at Menards. So before you start judging, think before having a hissy fit when things not going exactly the way YOU want it to.

The employees can only give you the information they have. If a product normally arrives in 2 weeks that is what they are going to tell you.

Unfortunately as customers like you seem to assume they don't go in the back and make the carpet. Occasionally the manufacturer is out at their warehouse and it gets backordered. The breakdown comes in getting that information to the store. When you called to check on the order, the store in turn checked on it and was told of the delay.

I expect you asked 3 different people how long it would take to adder carpet and you were told 2 weeks each time which would be the normal delivery time. There isn't a salesperson on earth that when asked how long the order will take that will say "I promise you you'll have it in 2 weeks." They didn't lie to you, they told you what was normal. Unfortunate delays in orders only lead to customers who complain and make life miserable for as many employees in the store as they can. Do you actually think salespeople go around lying to everyone they meet just to make a sale and have them all making their job miserable?

By the way, take a look at your order and the expected delivery date.

It tells you right there that it is an estimated deliver date. It doesn't say it is a guaranteed delivery date.

I wasn't a per say employee of Findlay Menards but I was contracted at that store one time. It was a terrible place, after awhile dreaded every minute, everyday of it.

(Most) Management was unprofessional and/or entirely worthless and the clientel was the nastiest I'd ever seen in customer service in my entire life(saying a lot as I had multiple jobs in a decade in it). Glad I'm far away

I work there and don't know that feeling....

Maybe if you were competent enough to spell the name of the company you would have better luck. You need to spell and grammer check...also learn to not cuss so much.

Menards in Muncie, Indiana - Returned 3.5 lapsiding with a receipt and not getting FULL price back

We bought 175 pieces of d3.5 lockside sandstone siding all at one time and a rebate for only 140 pieces. we received our rebate and when I returned only 14, we were only paid 2.19 for each. This is disturbing to me as they said " because we got a rebate that was why we were not paid the full amount." We had our receipt and had spent over $2000.00 .Since they only gave a rebate on 140 pieces I could've purchased them separately and received $ 35.00 rebate, but we didn't..... I just feel like I should have received the full REFUND on the 14 we returned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at the back if your receipt....it's got the policy right on it. Price adjustments in 14days. Should not have been a surprise to you.

It's the end of the patio season and they have the patio furniture on clearance to make room for the next seasons product. It happens every year.

No different than year end close outs at the car dealer or short sleeve shirts shorts at the clothing store.

If you want a deal, wait till the end of the season and hope the style you want is still available. You are mistaken to think you can buy a product anywhere in season and them expect them to give you the difference in price back when they close the product out.

Wasp Spray Review

We went to your Bloomington. IN store for black flag wasp spray. We were there for 25 min. No one knew where it was. Help was like trying to pull a tooth. Then to get a rain check she made us feel like we were doing something wrong, very rude. We just moved in our new home and have been spending alot of money fixing things up but from now on we will go to lowes.
