Actually, back when Bradley opened, they were associates. I'm sure the Store Manager isn't to blame.

24 hours transit time is pretty good. ***, US mail takes longer.

Track ur orders on line. Its the most current status

I have had the same issues there.A top of the fact not enough workers when questions arise.Love their products, but they need more and better trained people in customer relations. It's usually the younger employees that don't give a hoot.No respect.

Probably ignored you because you were running around the store taking on the phone or texting. Put the *** phone away and you might just get better service.

There is no manager named Dan at the Morse Road store. If you did speak with a store manager and they didn't appease you, I am surprised.

I have found that they often are able to work out the toughest problems with the toughest guest...often guest whose problems were cause entirely by their own stupidity.

How was Katie rude to you?

Menards in Rapid City, South Dakota - Terrible service

On August 9th I purchased I-Joists. I was told they would take 2 to 3 weeks. Then I received a call they would be there by Sept. 5th and I would be called to arrange delivery. The week of the 16th I called them and they said they would be delivered on the 22. On the 22 I called to see what time and they told me they couldn't find them. On the 23 I drove a 110 miles to the store, They couldn't find them. Next day they said they found them at the manufactures and they would be fast lined and I would have them by the end of the week. I didn't believe them but was nice. Finally they arrived on Monday evening. All this I could excuse as one of those things.. But then they said it would be Saturday, essentially another week before they had the trucks available. This I can't excuse. I guess I'll have to go to Lowes.

Last year I bought a glass top stove and also purchased extra warranty, less than a month later it cracked, not only would menards not replace it they would not return the money I paid for extended warranty! Plus the cost to replace the glass was going to cost MORE...

Why would you expect them to replace the range for you? Its clearly outside of the warranty period.

Its black and white. Sorry for your luck, but the tops don't just crack for the fun of it.

I bought a YS-400 Yard Sport UTV from Menard's. They were made on a contract run by a company in Carrollton, Texas, just 4 blocks from where I used to live. I had a few problems but Menard's did work them out (with a little prodding). I wanted a "Certificate of Origin"...

Menards in Minot, North Dakota - I VERY MUCH DISLIKE THE JINGLE...

4.5
Details
My shopping experiences at Menard's over the years have been largely good ones with one notable exception; The "Jingle" seemingly played endlessly in the store. I find it very annoying and hope that a fine company such as Menard's would consider a new "catchy tune" or better yet a variety of "old country and bluegrass music", "Elvis and The Beetles" etc. Anything but that tiresome, never ending "shop Menard's" now played without relief. The present situation accomplishes one thing for me - I want to get out of the store ASAP. Another idea I personally would like to see is easier internet access to our local store.

Try working there. It plays every 7 minutes.

The key to advertising jingles is that people recognize it. Not like it, just recognize it. Mission accomplished!

#878009

Hearing "save big money" over and over is not anywhere as annoying as the direct tv staff menards invites into their stores to preform an act one small step above panhandling. Also try working at menards and having to do *** "blue light" announcements over the intercom to promote sale items in your department.

Don't count on them changing a jingle that's worked well for 40 years.

Menards - Return Fee Review

We recently bought a kitchen faucet from Menard's, however when we went to install it we realized we needed a different one. We never imagined that they would charge a 25% resist rocking fee costing us $50 to return a $200 faucet that was brand new. I might as well have thrown the money away. I don't know how they compete with any other stores. I will NEVER shop at Menard's again.

If you were charged a 25% restocking charge it was because you purchased a special order faucet that they do not stock. They will end up selling it in their bargain area at 50% or less of what you paid for it.

It states on the special order that there will be a 25% restock charge if they even accept the return. In the future don't special order merchandise you aren't sure will fit your needs. If it has to be special ordered it isn't common enough that there will be a great demand for it in the store.

Don't expect anything different at other retailers either. No one wants to get stuck with product that isn't going to sell rapidly.

Anonymous is spot on however, he/she left out the part where you were not charged shipping and handling. The restocking fee is to help recover this loss.

Kudos to these 2. They obviously understand.

However, I wish the team member would have made that clear to you.

This is a standard practice...even at the other home improvement retailers.

Menards in Abilene, Kansas - Rebate rip off!

How about the rebates! What a joke the 4.37 rebate arrives on a postcard through the mail unharmed. But when you have a $647.88 rebate shipped on a *** postcard mysteriously it never shows up? Imagine that and then they tell you we don't handle the rebates someone else does. After emailing and no reply for two weeks you get an email rebate used in another town sorry no other rebate will be issued! Your SOL, oh and when you redeem a rebate no ID is required you save big money! Should be We Save Big Money. All my money goes elsewhere now.

Why can't menards just put the rebates in envelopes instead of using loose index cards rebates. If you hide the dollar amount or the fact is is a rebate 99% of mail theft issues will be gone

Anonymous
#876681

Not accurate, large Rebate require an ID to use. This policy was put into place about 1.5 years ago.

To prevent theft.

And Menards Rebates are handled by Rebate International. A company owned and operated by Menards, but they claim to resource it out to avoid mail and consumer errors.

Menards refuse to return my money

Bought a 16 x 7 garage door at menards paid $435. Store closed soon after and I didn't picked up the garage door. I went to another menards store, told them what happen. After a year or more of investigation I was told that I was right and they would give me a store credit only. I said I want my money back not a store credit due to the amount of money owed me but Menards refused my request. I want to take legal action against Menards because they are actually stealing money from me. They would have arrested me if I took a $2.00 item from them.

Menards has closed a number of stores in order to tear them down and build a larger store on the same land.

#882661

I'd be interested to know which store you purchased it from. I don't think Menards has ever closed a store...

Anonymous
#875663

You realize Menards is not a warehouse to store your stuff til you need it right...when you purchase something you need to pick it up ASAP....also per return policy plastered all over the store and on your receipt it says after 90days you get a store credit. Shoulda been proactive dummy..at least your even getting money back

Anonymous
#875423

Why didn't you pick up the door when you bought it? It takes 4-6 weeks for the store to close after the closeout starts for the store to actually close.

Close out items are sold with the intention you take them with you or have them delivered right away. I expect you purchased the door at least 6 weeks before the store closed or you would have taken it with you as you would have known the store was closing soon. As you more than likely purchased the door at least 6 weeks before the store closed and then went to another store at a later date it's entirely possible there was more than 90 days from the time you purchased the door and the time you requested a refund.

Their refund policy states that refunds after 90 days from the purchase date will be in the form of a store credit. In the future don't buy products and expect a store to store them for you, they aren't storage warehouses.
