I am curious as to know how you would feel if you knew that you pay for a delivery everytime you buy a box of nails. Company's that offer "free" delivery have to pay for that expense one way or another and it's not out of the CEOs pocket.

The reason that I like Menards is because you get exactly what you pay for no extra charge for others delivery or stock holders that want new bugattis. They always and forever have been completely upfront about all of their polices. I truely worry about the future of our country with the number of ignorant consumers/Americans that are physically and mentally unable to ensure they have purchased the correct product before they throw away $2000. I expect my 2 year to not understand the value of a dollar but not an adult that is expected to teach the future of our country.

Menards in Clive, Iowa - Trubolt Elecctronic Deadbolt Quits after a few weeks

I went through two electronic deadbolts. The first one completely quit. I exchanged it for another one and the second slowly kept having mechanical issues then it finally quit and then the deadbolt part stuck out a quarter of an inch so it was always partially locked. Called the help number and all they told me to do was reset it and when I said I tried that they told me it was probably a spring problem and advised me to exchange it. I will not be exchanging, just returning - this is two I've been through in less than 2 months. Piece of junk.

Menards in La Grange, Illinois - Rebate amounts less than what was promised

We sent in two rebates to Menards. One was supposed to be for $22.50 and one for $7.28. They sent us two rebate checks. One was for $6.69 and one for $6.11. This is fraudulent on their part. I have read other numerous complaints online from customers who have not received their rebates or who have gotten the wrong amounts. Secondly, anyone could steal these rebate checks as they are not in any type of envelope. If they should get delivered to the wrong address or if a postal carrier was not honest. I'm guessing that Menards counts on customers not sending in or keeping track of rebate coupons they have sent in. We will shop elsewhere if this is not corrected.

Completely unrelated company. Rebatesinternational.com.

I have had issues and I contacted them And they resolved the issue. When dealing with millions of people it's pretty easy for a few to get sent incorrectly.

My guess is that you returned product or had prices adjusted and that reduced your rebate. You can't double dip on discounts.

Menards - Kids running the loading docks

I deliver windows to menards as a driver you get paid to drive today I have been to two stores and sat for 8 hours. That leaves me two to drive. They have young punk kids on the docks that are supposed to help unload but they don't they stand around and run their mouths while you unload. I once sat four hours waiting to deliver a 24"x24" window I could have carried in but 18 year old dock super insisted I back into a door to drop it off. I used to wonder why truck drivers hate menards now I know why and guess what menards we shop too.

menards staff probably would of let you carry the window into the receiving area while 2 employees stare into space while 3 other wave to you as you struggle to drag the window though the walk in door. The remaining staff is either in the rest room with their phones or just roaming the aisles aimlessly playing hide and seek with customers

I wanted to touch up my living room and kitchen dining room area so I bought a quart of each color paint that I thought would match the colors that I already have on the wall For some reason they couldn't get it right even though I gave them three chances to make it right and that's one too many I think! Although I was refunded the amount each time I figured that their paint machine needed to be repaired or the guys that waited on me are idiots I since then went to another paint store and they got it right the first time

That is NOTHING! Get this.

The paint dept Ft D IA didn't bother to close a gallon of paint they mixed for us. We had multiple gallons mixed at the same time. Didn't know we were expected to inspect how well they closed them. We were told we could file an insurance claim but honestly it would be denied because it was our problem once we left the store.

(Is this honest statement supposed to make up for their error?) They said they agreed that the paint person should have closed the paint can. Really? You agree with that? Genius!

Oh, but they will replace the paint. The trunk of our car is AWFUL!

was charged $10.00 higher than advertised sale price on purchase after speaking to manger (head Manager ) he threatens to not refund your card and then hangs up on you . This guy needs serious help on how to work with the public eye and customers . If he does not get his way on the phone he hangs up on you like a little two year old . They need to replace this guy very soon because he is sick. I have never worked with such a sick individual that acts like a two year old child as this person does . It took several phone calls and him finally looking up the ad to be convinced that he was wrong . I cant believe that menards would keep this person as there head manager. He is truly unfit for the position and should seek psychiatric help.

I know a lot of managers at menards and none of them would just "hang up on you"! Clearly you were acting like a child, not the manager.

If you were being irrational then yes, they definitely have a reason to hang up on you. You are not as innocent as you think sir.

It's rare to find a manager hang up on you unless you are acting in less than a civilized manner. If you didn't like his reason for the price did your language become vulgar? They don't need to listen to the kind of language some customers stoop to when they don't get their way.
