The store I work at had several pallets of this coffee. Still had stock on Monday morning.

In addition to the regular stock location it was also sold from a pallet in the main aisle of the store. Perhaps you ran across an employee from a department that doesn't sell the coffee and wasn't aware that there was more available than what was in the regular stock location.

Too many people assume that everyone in the store knows where every item is located. Make sure you are talking to someone that works in the department that sells the product you are looking for.

I placed a "special order" as the item was on display, but not stocked in the store. After they lost the item twice and reordered a third time, I cancelled. Menards West in Eau Claire WI. Don't deal with Derek in flooring or Manager John. Both idiots

Why do you call Derek and John idiots? You are probably doing so out of ignorance as to how a retail store operates.

You also say nothing about what the item is. Your order arrives with thousands of items coming into the store each day. Special order items are tagged as such and should be put in a special order area when they are spotted. Unfortunately if you are ordering a small item it may get sent to the floor with other freight to be processed and put away.

You may have been sent an e-mail through their automated system letting you know your item had arrived when it came off the truck. Unfortunately it may take a while before your item is actually seen and moved to the special order area. This has nothing to do with the intelligence of the individuals you dealt with, just a system that has a lot of product flowing through it. Sometimes items get lost in the shuffle.

Looks like they tried to re-order for you but your lack of information really doesn't tell the whole story. If you are going to post, tell a little more of the story before you start insulting people.

Most people looking at a clear plastic bag could get a rough idea that half the bag was missing when you picked it up. You should have grabbed another bag or asked for a discount before you took it home.

i ordered a nail gun that I can't have sent to my local store. It said in stock ready to ship. A few days later i get an email that says it's now a special order, I contact the customer service which is a joke. I want to be able to call not have someone ignore my emails. They tell me they will look into why it's 2 weeks and my in stock item didn't ship. The only response I get is I'll look into it. I paid to have it here by Christmas and the order tracker has it shipping by the end of January and I can't even get someone to refund my money because it takes them 4 days to respond to an email and they are absolutely no help.

As an African American electriction and general contractor for home remodels I personally have been a victim of "swb" AKA shopping while black 3 times over the past 7 years at menards stores. All of which were short tempered security and store staff as well.

The most recent was for bringing in an old rusty tape measure with true value label on the side into the store. The clown security man spent 10 minutes trying to find a stock number for my beat up 15 year old tape measure before the store staff told him to "buzz off" and apologized for his actions.

Unfortunately as a minority race you are prejudged as guilty until proven innocent and even after being proven innocent due to common sense you are then are seen as guilty just for the "h" of if. Hopefully someday everyone will be equal.

If these Menard rejects spent more time working and less time scolding the public, just maybe this all knowing shark nasty might advance from lumber stacker to trash collector, I have heard that is a whole $.03 per hour raise. SHOP at LOWES or HOME DOPOT, Menards treats customers WRONG!

Nice post! Hold up, you have no information what so ever.

First of all there is not one Menards store in Georgia. Matter of fact they don't even have one store south of Missouri. Second of all it's your job as a consumer to keep your receipt. With out it the best they can do is the lowest sale price or even exchange of the item.

BECAUSE PEOPLE ATTEMPT TO STEAL FROM THEM WITH RECEIPT SCAMS. The item is on sale you purchase it paying $7.99, a few days later it's no longer on sale you attempt to return it with out a receipt and want $12.98 back. You just gained $4.99..... People will take the item off the shelf without paying for it and walk straight up to the return desk and try to return it for cash.

As a consumer it's your responsibility to keep your receipt for proof of purchase. If you expect retail stores to be accountable you the consumer also needs to be accountable. You're lucky they offered you anything at all. They could have simply said no.

You say bad service, I say bad consumer. Do you see how much I wrote compared to you? If we turned this for a grade to a professor I would get an A, and you would get an F. If your going to make such a post in the future I highly suggest you pack it with as much information as you can.

In order to have a real argument you need to be able to support it with facts. However, your ignorance is glaring.

Just over a year later the keypad went bad. Paid 85 dollars for the lock. Called company for replacement and they do not have replacement parts!!! Buy a new lock or if its under warranty they will replace it totally at the store. Worst customer service. ...
