Menards in Saint Joseph, Missouri - Bathroom vanity nightmare

ordered 60" vanity base, St.Joe, Mo. on 1-6-15 was told it would be in within 7 days of the special order. The order actually came in 6 days-yea! Drove 25 miles to store to pick up vanity and top. Top is correct but vanity is brown and not the white I ordered. Box labeled white. Now I am told I can't get replacement till 3-25-15!!!! That's insane! The mfg. doesn't answer phone calls or e-mails from this Menard's Mgr. told me they are having issues with this vendor MAGICWOODS products made in Indonesia. They need to drop Magicwoods as a supplier. Their customer service STINKS!

Menards - Staff Review from Warsaw, Indiana

Was shopping at the Menards in Warsaw Indiana and over heard a GM yelling at one of his employees. This store was very busy this day and the we're people everywhere, the employees were doing the best they could. The GM was yelling at him for having stuff in the back isle of that certain department. The employee tried to explain they were so busy and he was getting to it right now and the GM continues to tell at him, in front of people. Absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for. I would like to report this certain GM if I knew who to report him too.

All too typical. GM's are used to this treatment by the corporate office and it just runs downhill from there. Very little positive reinforcement at Menards, rather than catching an employee providing good service and praising an employee they would rather belittle a person for something like a little freight or project not being done that should be secondary to customer service.

wow, when did you become expert on 287 Menards GMs management styles? if a situation caused a danger or safety issue I would hope a little passion would be expressed to keep me and my family safe. A sorry after something falls or trips someone is too late!

anonymous you are that corprate fixer that still is filling folks with lies... had both washer&dryer(maytags) bought there also washer lasted 2 yrs with 3 service calls,now it is in a scrap yard,dryer lasted 1yr with 4 calls and the service man(a&e service,their guys) said it was missing 2 of the 3 trans bolts from the factory thats why the belts kept falling off and see's this kind of thing all the time with their units,as they are built to menards specs not maytags save big money,shop a real store

Menards in Holland, Ohio - REBATE SCAM

I purchased 24 rolls of insulation in Nov for $6.99 with a $4 per roll rebate. I have purchased items on rebate before and usually takes 3 to 5 weeks before it shows up on the web page as being processed. After 9 weeks they still did not even show as being received. With only one week to go to be able to return the item I returned it. I figure I would just wait until the next sale, as they normally repeat the same sales over and over. Well 1 week after I made the return they all of a sudden show the rebate as being processed. Twice as long as usual to process? Ok, no problem, I'll just wait until the next sale. Well they had the sale - raised the price $1 dollar a roll and reduced the rebate to $2 a roll. Personally, I think they held the rebates on this product because of a mistake on their part. Anyway, I WILL NOT shop there again. HD and L will get me business from now on

I believe that the purpose of a lock is to lets see....LOCK! It sounds as though your lock is doing exactly as it should be.

Maybe you should learn to read the package and notice that the brands are completely different. Or maybe test the product before you place it on whatever your going to be using it on first.

I ordered 3 over head garage doors, when they came in and i had them installed i found out that the springs were the wrong ones. When I called the store I was told that they were special ordered doors and they would not help me. I had to purchase the springs form a outside vendor to complete the installation. I then returned to the store to speak with the manager, and was told that they would not help in the additional cost do to the fact that i used an outside vendor to complete the installation. The doors were being installed at my place of business and they are required in the day to day operation of my business. Besides the fact that it has been in the low 20's for the past few weeks. Not what I call good business, will be the last time I ever use Menards.

If the springs that came with the door were the "wrong" springs the manufacturer would have sent new springs at no charge. I expect what you mean to say is that you want a different type of spring than you ordered.

You have 3 options when you order the door, extension, torsion or ez-set torsion. I expect you ordered extension or ez-set torsion and ran across an installer that would only install torsion springs.

Any of the 3 will operate the door but you should always talk to your installer before you special order any product to be sure you are ordering the product he wants to use. Don't blame Menards because you didn't communicate with your installer before ordering the doors.

What on earth are you talking about? First of all you normally don't move a deck, once you take it's support away the structural integrity is gone.

What really doesn't make sense is how it could possible damage your wood floors? Have you been smoking something not legal in most states?

I wondered what they were talking about too. So I read it a couple times and figured it out.

I bet they meant DESK not DECK. Moving a desk that falls apart could damage an interior floor.

People do need to take a few seconds to proof read what they have wrote or typed...
