Menards in Cedar Springs, Michigan - REBATE ADJUSTMENT

I MADE A PURCHASE OF $358.63 ON MAY 4, 2015. LESS THAN A WEEK LATER THE STORE RAN 11% OFF EVERYTHING. I WAS TOLD TO APPLY AT THE REBATE ADJUSTMENT DEPARTMENT FOR MY 11% REBATE. I'M A VERY GOOD CUSTOMER & USE A LOT OF MERNARDS' PRODUCTS. I AM A LANDLORD HAVE A LOT OF APARTMENTS. LAST YEAR A USED OVER $6,000.00 WORTH OF MERCHANDISE. I WILL PROBALY USE SOME SIMILAR AMOUNT IN THE COMING MONTHS AND ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO MERNARD SALES MUCH BETTER THAN HOME DEPOT I LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOUR DEPARTMENT FOR MY 11% ADJUSTMENT OF $338.63 X 11% =$37.22 MY PURCHASE WAS MADE AT WYOMING MI STORE ON CLYDE PARK MY TRANSACTION IS #2195

First of all, quit with the all-caps, you look computer illiterate. Second, you are mad they ran a sale a week later, without telling YOU ahead of time?

The fact they let you take the rebate is a week later when there are no "early adjustments" at the store speaks volumes. Get over yourself.

What are you complaining about? They told you to get the form to send in for an 11% price adjustment rebate.

Pick up the form and send it in. Keep in mind that if any of the $358.63 with of items were on sale, you wouldn't get the rebate on top of the sale price.

What is the problem? You purchased items and you are no longer happy with those items because Menards ran a promotion a week later?

Did you not need those items? Were you not willing to buy them with out the promotion? Oh wait. Wait one minute.

You were fully happy with your purchase prior to this promotion!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then all of a sudden you expect Menards to give you a price adjustment because they ran a 11% rebate promotion a week later. Why?????? Menards does not owe you a price adjustment.

Why can't you expect the fact you made a choice to purchase a week prior because thats what you needed and when you needed it. Perhaps we should throw a tantrum like a child because 3-months from now Menards will run another 11% rebate sale and we are owed a price adjustment on all the pass 3-months of purchases as well.......

This story sounds fishy, the fact that you DO NOT want them to check the cameras makes me think you were trying to steal the $5 item. Even if this is not the case grow up, own up to your mistake, you are the one that was careless so you have to wait for them to return your item. No wonder your own son cannot stand you that he has to move far from you.

Menards in Chicago, Illinois - Lack of customer service

I ordered a chair online. I noticed that the store locater was on a store in chicago instead of the store I was browsing. Long story short, I ordered from the wrong store. They said there was nothing they could do about it and I would have to submit an email. I have yet to hear from them two-days later. Would like to have my money back the workers were not helpful and could offer me no solution except for to wait. Ido not think that a company so large should have any problem having a 1 800 number to take care of its customers. This by far my worst experience anywhere with service.

Menards in Beloit, Wisconsin - Same issue with self propel

First off I am a middle aged woman. I bought this from Menards mid summer 2014. This is the biggest POS I have ever bought. The self propel stopped working after 2 mowings and the cheap plastic lever to raise the mower broke in two, hard to start, I have had my boyfriend tighten everything up for me twice and he has to come over and do it again because I can't cut my front lawn without the self propel because it's on a hill. I have used it a half a dozen times and it is junk. What a waste of my hard earned money. I came online to look for some info and found these reviews. Menards doesn't even sell this brand online this year so they know it was junk too.

The genuine issue is the retailer menards selling poor quality Chinese junk in all departments that only frustrate and disappoint the public. Menards does not sell brand name mowers such as simplicty, toro, honda, or ariens.

Only off brand no name junk at menards which service centers don't have parts access to. Shame on the retailer in this case and their untrained and unmotivated staff that operate as corporate's puppets

If you took some time to research you would have come across Brute in the menards lineup. It is made by Briggs and Stratton.

Briggs & Stratton is the world's largest manufacturer of air-cooled gasoline engines primarily for outdoor power equipment.  So if this customer did some research they would have *** on a simplicity, toro, honda or any other mower. By the way your statement is now invalid.

when checking out we didn't get our bag that had our spickt handle in it when I told them manager viewed viedoe an said my boyfriend put it in his pocket so I went an got him to come back in and the manager showed us the video and we could see that we didn't take it another customer got his stuff put with ours and he left the store so the manager lied when he told me my boyfriend put in his pocket I know we don't steal what an awful day at menards for us 879 mall drive portage mi we will never shop there again people steal yes but for the manager to look at video an say we pocketed it then show us on video that we didn't well were never coming back an sure will spread the word what a bogus manager

More often the not, the reason the engine seizes up is the owners failure to follow the instructions and put oil in the engine. This is why the manufacture doesn't simply replace the mower.

The warranty covers repairs due to manufacturer defects. If you take the mower to a service center and the problem is a defect it will be repaired at no charge. If due to lack of oil, you are out of luck. You can't expect manufactures or stores to take the loss due to abused equipment.

This is no different than the warranty on a car that you pay a lot more money for. Bet you've never been given a refund on a car that needed repair after you bough it.
