I'm affaid it's not just menards company's all over are struggling with lazy dumb workers who had parents then never taught them a work ethic or held them responsible for them actions as much as I'd love to blame this on a corporation it's a American problem beat your kids and make them work or don't complain when the next 19 year old makes a mistake and gives you poor service she was never taught better.

I bought two keys from the minute key machine. While both keys were cut correctly, it seems that since I paid with a credit card, I was charged tax for each key. When I called the magic 1-800 number, I got someone that didn't know his *** from a whole in the ground....

Well you were luckier than me - I used their kiosk in a Lowes and within 3 hours after using it to pay for the keys - my credit card was fraudulently used multiple times for on-line purchases --- even though I had it in my wallet and it was never left my wallet after it was used in their kiosk. The CC company alerted me to the issue and now I have to change all my automatic payments to my new card.

What a mess. I will never use them again.

I purchased a power washer at Menards, I also purchased an extended warranty. The product broke down after the original manufacturers warranty expired, starting the extended one. I filed a claim with Menards.com and they show it as an "invalid product" yet the expiration date for the product is 4/2017. It also shows the proper model number, product and purchase under it, just listed as invalid. I file a claim regardless. I never receive a phone call or email and waited over a week. I logged back in to check the status of my claim only to find that it was "Denied". With no phone call, email or any other type of visit, Menards simply decided that it was my fault and left me out. Menards customer service is just awful, they hire cute, high school kids to blind you from the fact that you're being ripped off or getting stuck with their rebates that most times get "lost" in the mail since it's a tiny piece of paper that the mailman or neighbor has probably stolen since it there is nothing stopping anyone from seeing the rebate amount and it's not like you need an ID to cash those in...

You must be doing something wrong with rebates. We've received every one we ever submitted.

You just pick up the appropriate card (it's listed on the receipt) mail in the receipd and filled out card and you'll get it. Pretty quickly too.

Did you register the warranty when you bought it? If you didn't it won't show up on line. Try calling the 800 number on your warranty and see what they can do for you.

Iv been there there are huge banners everywhere pushing there card and that computer you apply at has a sticker right on the front you go to some of these sites to see if other people are have the same issues and all I see is a bunch of idiots who refused to pay attention. Good job amazed you even made it to the store or found the door ahh you proboly looked at the signs saying entrance.

It was be covered under the manufacture warranty if it's not a consumer caused issue. You can write so I'm pretty sure you can read, check your receipt it says on there this policy about gas powered equipment.

It's also posted all around the mowers. This is to protect Menards from clueless people who jack up equipment all the time and expect someone else to foot the bill.

I'm having the same issue but with a power washer and I purchased the extended warranty! Now, if they won't fix it because I put gas in it, then why sell me an extended warranty???

Why does this come as a surprise to you. There are signs all around the gas powered equipment explaining the fact that they have to be taken to a service center, not returned.

A majority of the problems are consumer misuse, be it using old fuel or not adding oil. If you look at the warranty provided by the manufacturer, it covers repair of the mower, not replacement.

Menards in Sandusky, Ohio - Money in the trash!

We followed the instrcutions for ours. Tested it with ice to make sure it worked for at least 2 weeks with everything all good. Put meat in it, checked it weekly & then bam. Spent the weekend away & didnt check it for about 5-7 additional days to find out nothing is frozen. Dont know when it happened but its full of meat & its all a loss. Menard's has a *** customer service department & they offer no help with issues. Once i payoff the hot water heater we purchased i am closing my account & shopping at Lowe's. We should have paid more money for a better freezer. We would still be ahead if we had done that.

They arrived broken. I have called and sent e-mails, and they have given me the runarround. I am hot on one to complain, but it is hard to get in touch with a person that will help. Their customer service is horrible!!!!! How does a company with this type of service stay in business? I have spoken with multiple people, but most were so unwilling to help. I am a professional and can't understand why they are so unwilling to help. The problem is the product was improperly packaged for shippment, broken, put my project on hold, and they did not seem to care about my problem.

Did you attempt returning the broken blocks to the store with your receipt? Don't know what you expect without returning the block you say is damaged.
