Richmond Indiana Menards, I went in on the 17th, for shingles, was quoted a price, was told that they are on sale until the 22nd. I came back with measurements on the 20th to buy. The price had gone from $16 to $20, I needed 84 bundles, that is over $300. I was told tough, corporate changed their minds and changed it and they would no honor the price I was quoted. I talked to them on monday, same thing, I wrote the home office, they told me not to buy if I didnt like the price. I went to Lowes, I bought $2000 worth or shingles today and all the supplies. I will never step into a Menards again.
While I do give you credit, I was not attacking you, I was attacking the guy who posted about me, calling me a jerkoff etc, preaching to me about High School economics. No matter how much a person makes, his education etc, they deserve to be treated right, and that includes customers, or should I say ex customers. You knocked Menards, that is what I was doing. I will never step in a store of theirs again. Never. It amazes me that people post on this website and try to convince us we are wrong, try to convince that we are all stupid etc. This is a PISSED off customer board, if you want glowing reviews of Menards, go to the Happy Menards customer website, doubt that it exist, ha. If they are so great, why are there so many complaints... they have some serious problems, that is quite obvious. Kudos to you for your work, kudos for staying off of welfare. I have no problem with you, it is a couple of these other jerkoffs who posted on here, who really cannot comprehend the whole situation I had, that really piss me off.

Please sir dont judge me for wearing a blue vest to work. (Actually I wear a blue polo) I became angry about how you talked about someone because of the work they do or the amount of money they make. So income or the job someone works is a judge of who they are as a person. I am a single mother and I work very hard. I could go on welfare but choose not to. So imagine what it feels when someone insults you because they make more money then you. Shame on you. And as far as Menards goes, they are a sorry business to work for. You get treated like *** and the only consern is for people like john and Larry to make another million!

If you think you are a business, genius, wizkid, why are you working in a blue vest as a stock cleanup/ boy at Menards. I will compare my education and income with you anyday. I do realize that one pissed off customer like myself will not bring down a piece of *** company like Menards, but go ahead and keep *** people off, someday it will.

If you knew the price was great on the 17th then why didn't you just buy it then. Maybe they said the 20th and you heard the 22nd. have you ever thought about that. Don't always blame the store, Menards is just trying to do the best they can and they're a great store.....

you got your estimate on the 17th, you should have paid for it on the 17th. there is really nothing more to discuss here. it's your own fault that you didn't realize that markets can be volatile, thus stores are forced to change their prices on a whim.
and really, you think your $1000 means anything to menards? it probaably takes about 30 seconds for any store to make up that money. but you keep on trying to fight the man! loser...
One must be one to come onto a website and start calling people names. You were not there, so dont start judging people. Market conditions can change... but you do not run an ad, then pull the sale price in the middle of it, you just cannot do it and have customeres remain loyal to you or even like you. I would imagine you must go now, I hear them paging "cleanup in aisle 6"
Take time to look at their ads. They include a statement that says "Due to market conditions prices may change without notice..." Any quote I have gotten from them is only valid the day it is printed. Quit being such an ignorant ***.

Calling me names shows what a dumb *ss you are. I am not paying for an estimate from a store like Menards, I bring in all the numbers, you give me a price, live by it. You are obviously another Retards stock boy, the only people who defend them work there.
Lowes got the sale along with about $1000 worth of more things since, Retards loss, I will never go back.
