Menards is he only hardware store that does not supply them, Lowe',Home Depot, Pick and Save and more do.Maybe John Menard should use some of the money he peeing away on a second rate race team and give the handicap something important. They also lied to me when they opened a new store in Wi and e-mailed me that there woud be battery carts. Lost a cutomer for ever. |
| 2. Written by Yeah, I Work There, on 08-12-2008 21:14 I hate Amigos. See the last 3 posts dealing with these stupid carts to see why. BTW, if anyone knows who had the bright idea to make these horrible devices, you have my permission to whack 'em on the head with a tack hammer. Unless it's the guy who decided to put those two fat guys in cowboy hats on those mini bikes. Thats just funny. If it was him he gets a free pass for pretty much anything. Douchebag. |
| 3. Written by Millwork Marauder, on 05-12-2008 23:17 I find this funny to read, because earlier today I was doing a swipe at the service desk and a fat lady yelled at me because we don't provide those Amigo rider cart things. She even told me it was her fault she was in this shape - no handicap, no medical problems or anything. She yelled at me because she got herself into bad shape. Fat people are the reason we don't provide them. Who's to say that if we did provide them, some fat person wouldn't have already taken it, then we'd still be getting yelled at by you "you need to get some more". Next thing you know, everybody and their dog are riding around on one of these things. What really annoys me is that it's always the fat person. A handicapped person will either A.) have their own or B.) ask someone to help them, which we gladly do. I've said it before in the Amigo complaint, everytime I see someone come in that actually needs a wheelchair, I walk right up to them and ask if I can help them get what they need. I walked around the store (we're a P5, by the way - the biggest in the Menards buildings) for over an hour with this gentleman putting everything in the cart he needed, helping his check out, and even carrying it out to his car for him. If you REALLY need help the next time you come in, don't be afraid to ask for it because one of us will gladly help you in the drop of a hat. |

Written by fella, on 03-12-2008 19:51 ever consider that maybe the handicapped should provide rider carts for themselves? why should it be the responsibility of the company to do it for somebody? menards isn't where it is today because it's a poorly-run company. the only thing they're required to do is reasonably accomodate those who may have a physical handicap. nothing more. you are a sad example at how lazy and needy this country has become. for shame! |
