It is 6:26 Friday evening May 8th. I just payed my Menards credit card bill. I will be accessed the $29 late fee for paying my bill late - even though it is not due until May 10. That is a rip-off! What other card does this? Do they shut the computer system off on weekends? Maybe that is why they are 2 days behind.

Went home, looked up new location, and drove 1/2 hour looking for new site---could be seen from highway but no signage!! FINALLY found access road to store, and store wouldn't accept a debit card for payment...said I would have to look for a tyme machine. Went home without purchasing the items I had on my list, called in a phone payment at no charge, and ripped up my Menard's card when I finished. Will no longer do business with this outfit. They are not customer friendly. |

They don't want to lose customers, unless you are cronically late with your payments they will probably remove the late fee. You just have to talk to people. I've never had a problem with Menards, they've always listened to my problems and understood. When you first call them you will get a representative who can only do so much for you. If he/she can't resolve it, ask to speak with the manager, the manager can totally remove your late fee. They have for me, more than once. Be nice to them, coming on like a gang buster will only hurt your situation. Like, who wants to help a person who is screaming at you? You children out there, LEARN HOW TO TYPE, read it before you hit 'send'. If you can't, how can we? Grow up, stop your bullying. Retard, your problem, ***, incompetent?? Give me a break!! You name callers need to get a better handle on your egoes. |

The point of doing the online paymts. is so you can do it the same day. Please, we paid cash for everything in the past and it hurt our credit. You never got a car loan or student loan. They charged the late fee because the great post office took so long to deliver. So I won't chance that again.... |

Most, not all, banks are open only for convenience on Saturday's and closed on Sunday. All of Friday's business after 4 P.M. and all of Saturday's business is posted on Monday. HSBC is a BANK! Please be more responsible with your payments. It is no wonder that the entire USA is in an economic crisis! |
